    I have an original moondrop Aria, but the openheart cable I've been using broke, so instead of getting a new cable I will get a new set. The conch offers more accesories for less money, so I'been leaning to get it, but at the same time I tought of getting the KZ ZS10 PRO X for a different and maybe more fun sound.
    I don't know how the conch compare to my Aria

    • @Jaawaudio
      @Jaawaudio  4 месяца назад

    Hey new sub here, really like your content, question: i have the conch, how much better are the 200 dollars range iems?aful 5 ea1000 etc. Are those a worthy upgrade or should i aim at higher prices? Thanks

    • @Jaawaudio
      @Jaawaudio  5 месяцев назад +5

      Hello! Firstly gratz for picking a great IEM to start with :D And yeah, there certainly are a lot of upgrade paths. But first we have to ask ourselves, what do we want from the hobby, what are we looking to get for our money? Right now, the new Simgot EA500LM is probably the best thing to buy, instead of the 200 dollar sets. I haven't heard it myself, but I trust other reviewers who praise it. And as for the estimate, of how much better the pricier sets are ..you'll get very little more, to be perfectly honest. This hobby is about making a big deal about small upgrades, and also paying big money for small upgrades. Give it some thought, I often say this is more like an adventure, and much less a smart use of money :D

    Nice review, really like it, choosing conch over ew200, was little bit suprise for me, got conch along with mt4 pro, and in some areas mt4 pro easy beating conch, technicly mt4 pro are closer to ew200 than conch, took me like week and half comparing ew200 and conch, and for me ew200 is easy winner, simple better iem, conch win over ew200 only in additional accessories, everything else, conch looks like stupid iem, on complex tracks, too much fatiguing, noticable bad dynamic, some crazy harash occur, and even i tried like 20-30 ear tips to correct conch, it was always fail, but community hypin this iem and i guess for beginer lvl they are kinda ok;)

    • @Jaawaudio
      @Jaawaudio  5 месяцев назад

      Preference plays a surprisingly huge part, it's completely fair picking EW200 over others, personally that would be my subjective pick as well. But the spice compared to Red nozzle Conch, will be too much for a lot of people, and EW200 is objectively more niche in that sense. My reviews will carry this consideration, for making recommendations wider, but also explaining why. Similarly Zero2 gets rec before Nuo, because of the treble. All top of the market, EW200, Conch, Nuo, Zero2. Thank you for your thoughts!

    I saw you're using standard 2 cable on the conch, trn and kz cables have reversed polarity compared to standard 2 pin. So you're not listening to the conch as intended, reversed polarity will make treble sound more grainy and staging and imaging will be warped.

    • @Jaawaudio
      @Jaawaudio  Месяц назад

      As long as both sides have their polarity reversed, it matters very little. Recordings also are not in absolute phase always, so you'd actually be listening to the IEM not as intended, if you always do correct polarity. Good looking out though, thanks for the comment!

      @Jaawaudio  5 месяцев назад +3

      Thanks for the comment! EW200 is generally described as shouty, as the vocal forwardness in the upper mids at +10dB 3K-5K , and also bright, because of the considerable +10dB peak at 14K. Audio is subjective, so not everyone will be averse to these, but as a reviewer I have to point them out, as those features aren't the majority's cup of tea.
