LOVE the small boards man! Keep these coming!
Ha! Yes you do!! Thanks man!!
I have the Supreme and DeepBlue Delay on a small pedal board with my Victory Dutchess V4. Very nice compact rig.
So helpful! You do such a great job explaining gain staging.
Thanks!!
I bought the Supreme on the back of this and it has wiped the floor with every overdrive I've ever used. Just awesome.
what about "pop" when click each side?
@4:56 whoa, that IS an amazing bridge tone...
Even listening to Matt demo pedals is a treat. Nice
😉
interesting video Jeff, Cheers
Thanks Graeme!
So different with the humbuckers- great video
Thank you. I really like this pedal a lot as it works equally as well on singles and humbuckers.
Jeff McErlain mine arrived yesterday! 👍
Awesome!! 💚
Thanks!
Man, I had tickets to Matt’s Iridium show downtown. Got scheduled in the thickest part of the Coronavirus. Next time!
That’s a bummer. We are all bummed about no gigs!
So... the Buffer is placed after the drives in the Supreme pedal?
Good video guys.. I have a supreme. I'm really digging it. How are you powering these boards?
I’m using a Strymon Zuma R300. Not sure what Matt is using. Thanks Rod!
@@JeffMcErlain Matt's will be a GigRig I reckon
Cool…I love looking at the fly rigs of other people. Too bad we can’t post photos. My little travel board is a Polytune3 mini tuner, Plutoneium Chi Wah Wah wah, Wampler Gearbox dual overdrive, Suhr Woodshed compressor (I use it for a boost pedal), and a cheap Donner Yellow Fall delay (my Halo delay won’t fit). The Gearbox and Woodshed pedals are Andy Wood signature pedals. Unless I break a string and need my ‘97 PRS Cu22, I’m usually playing my 2006 Suhr Classic T thru it using the bridge pickup 90% of the time.
The board is a $26 14” board also from Amazon.
Hey Jeff, Great video, thanks. What brand/model is the travel board itself?
Pedal train nano!
Sweet! 👍🏻😎👊🏻
🙏
We could just stop ........at the Fantastic clean...sound....... When I got my Supreme..and worked with all the Pedal Options and Volume..comtrolling effects.........I PUT AWAY my Zen and Vertex Boost...... SUPREME IS JUST THAT.........SUPREME.......
and this Cat........SCHOFIELD is on top of his game......... AND HE PUTS ON A KILLER SHOW........ unlike Mr. Grumpy ford...
Great video. Its nice to know we don't need 20 pedals ( although thats nice ) on a board to achieve some great sounds. Just awesome guitars , an Ox Box , a 2 rock , Jeff McErlain and Matt Schofield ................. simple :)
Ha! What I look for in a board like that is it works with most any decent amp. On the road if there is back line I always looks for the Hotrod DeVille. They have a good clean tone and they take pedals well.
@@JeffMcErlain thanks Jeff, my comment was tongue in cheek of course. Great stuff and i will check out the Hotrod Deville. Thank you .
Jason Carter I know! That’s why I added the “ha!” I appreciated it. I am fully aware of the gtrs, amps, etc. 😉
Jeff McErlain 👍
Hi Jeff,
I saw Matt past year in Basel, amazing and loud tone...
Regarding your delay, is always on? 3 repeats and +-350ms?
Thanks!
Yeah Matt’s awesome! It’s not always on, solos mainly. It can get in the way of some rhythm playing. Yes about 350ish and 3 repeats.
Matt said he doesn't have any buffers until the Supreme is on, but isn't his delay always on? So, wouldn't his signal always be buffered?
No buffers before the supreme. Supreme is the first thing the guitar will ‘see’. A buffer before the supreme would affect the impedance relationship between guitar and input of the supreme And doesn’t clean up the same way when you roll down guitar volume.
@@J1JL hmm maybe why it doesnt play nicely with my fuzz... other than that its perfect..
The Mad Professor seems a bit similar to how you could use a JHS Double Barrel... I shall investigate :)
Report back!!
@@JeffMcErlain sir... I sent a message about private lessons a few days ago through your www... if you didn't get it, let me know and I will re-send. Thanks
90% of the Matt’s tone comes from two rock and his hands!
I’d say hands alone is the 90%. 😀👍
