@mommy2cutestbabyever step1: make sure edge tapping is actually on. Step 2: tap at the back of your ear twice fast. And, why do it like this? Well trying to hit the edge every time is difficult. I hit the pause/play button every time... This has no risk and works verry easy.

I go to the gym almost every day and I do talk to people so the feature of pressing and holding to switch between ambient mode and noise canceling is gold. Also when you get super sweaty or get into activities that make earphones come out easily, it's super cool that you can block the touch when you need to be adjusting them, so you don't press undesired commands. BUT, if you DO engage on physical activity, I do recommend looking into memory foam cushions to help them hang tight into your ear, for at least I find this material comes out very easily when you get sweaty hehe. If you are like me and watch a bunch of reviews about what you're about to buy, you will find that people often say things "sound is not as rich as the Buds Pro"... but trust me you will not be disappointed, they sound great and they are pretty loud; I like loud music and yet, I rarely listen to them at max volume even when it's loud outside. Anyway, I hope I got you more hyped up :D

The one ear anc or ambient sound in my opinion is for people who either have lost hearing in one ear or never had it. Medical birth or accidentally lost hearing in one ear. Basically this means those with only one active ear only need to pull one earbud out and get the full use of it. The other ears already quite 24/7. Hopefully some technical geniuses were that thoughtful and that's the real reason lol.
It could also be for people who work in environments where they need to hear for safety... example : I know some mail carriers who walk around with one earbud in and one out for safety
Perhaps my software was different but I was unable to turn on ambient sound with one ear bud. I use this in the office when rocking one ear bud only. That way half of my head doesn't feel plugged up while the other feels open. Airpods have ANC and transparency with one bud, deal breaker for me, sorry samsung.
My first ever Samsung ear buds love them I was a bit concerned that they would not fit as I have very small 👂 canels I've tried loads of inear ones and they were all to big and always fall out these are just perfect thanks for the very helpful video 👍😘

Certain days they work just fine for Teams calls and music on my two windows 10 laptops and my chromebook. Other days they disconnect and reconnect rapidly which is very annoying. This is what I've done in an attempt to fix this: Update the firmware Unpair the device and pair it again Reset the buds Disconnect them from my phone Check the bluetooth drivers on my windows laptops None of those things seem to solve the problem.
I buy these as my first wireless earbuds and the audio quality kinda disapointed me at first (alittle harsh in high ends and noisy) but after i tweaked the EQ settings (lowering high end frequencies AND seting the audio effect to SOFT ) immidetly they became more rich , naturall and BASSY , the only thing i am alittle annoyed by it is that the accidental touch controls happen alot when u just wanna make em fit back to ur ear Otherwise they are great with very long and efficient battery performance (also the gaming mode does really reduce the audio latency for games)
When you asked "I'm not sure who would do this" when you were talking about only using one bud it made me chuckle. A lot of things in the world if you can say " this is pointless, I don't need this who even needs this" etc it's not meant for you which probably means it's for people with disability.
Just upgraded to these from the buds+. Definitely like how the buds 2 fit in my ear. The buds + were good but these fit even better. Seem like the buds 2 are a little harder to get in my ear right just because of the smaller size and shape. I'll probably get used to that with time. Also the touch controls were frustrating on my old ones. Was easy to accidentally changes songs which is annoying. Not having that issue with these since you can turn off and on the specify touch controls you want. I do think they have adjusted something with the touch control though because I've been much less frustrated with it😂 but yeah I'm happy. If you already have the buds +, I don't think they're improved enough to justify upgrading...unless ANC is important to you. I lost mine unfortunately so was forced to get the new ones.

Anyways I hope you didn't overpay like me 😂 last time I buy something expensive from Walmart without checking the price.

I'm a TRUCK DRIVER. I got these at Verizon graphite color $48 because I returned a Razer kishi for gaming button fell off. Buds2 are perfect for TRUCK DRIVING. I only wear one when driving or in shipping receiving area or fueling. My buddy truckers tell me they can't tell the difference they work as good or better than the Truckers headsets. I even stood in front of the motor noise open window wind and etc. You can't use both because Noise Cancelling is so good you can't hear the people talking to you even with music off. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR TRUCK DRIVERS or anybody looking for great call quality and the music is most definitely good. Super light you can't feel them but careful don't lose them. Battery ain't that good but with the case it works for my job. Plus I'm always close to a charger.
just got some overnighted from amazon, used them at work all day. These are my first bluetooth ear buds. My complaint is when i feel one coming a little loose and go to push it into my ear a little bit, it thinks i'm tapping it or long pressing and it pauses my music or skips the track. I want to have the 1 tap pause/play feature, but if i just go to adjust the fitting, they pause every time.
This is all great information, but I have never been able to pair with the wearable app. Any suggestions? Haven’t been able to get any help from Samsung.
Does anyone know if you can use galaxy buds on a pixel phone to automatically read text messages and also use google assistant hands free? I tried pixel buds, but it seems that they will only notify you that you have a message and have to tap them to listen. I often have both my hands busy with work and would like to keep working without stopping to tap to hear messages or just say hey google call ... while I'm still working.

I bought galaxy Pro for 150$ and after 3 days of trying everything was just impossible to take the buds pro more than 20 minutes. My ears just hurts so much. So i called the shop after 3 days of they can give me the buds 2. They agree to exchange but not give me the extra money because the buds 2 cost 100$. In the end I exchange the buds pro for buds 2 and let me say I am super happy now. the fit is the most important thing. Also the sound quality was +- the same. Thumbs up for the buds 2

i only have one working ear so i actually was glad to hear it would still do active noise cancelling haha glad you mentioned it

I had trouble with the edge control tapping but I saw a video and the edge control still works when you tap the back of your ear

if they are coming loose i would recommend to put the bigger rubber ear piece on it that comes with the buds

You'll get used to pushing in and twisting using only the edges.
Try changing ear tips, I put the small one and now I don't have problems
