Awesome Road King. And, it is spotless! For me, there’s always been something special about the Harleys with that big ignition switch on the tank…yes, I’m in my mid 60’s and still riding. There’s nothing like riding down the highway, low level tunes and that V-twin growl that’s music to my ears while I remember my military buds. Ride well, brother. Peace.
The Road King is the personification of a Harley Davidson icon. Those select riders who own one are indeed privileged. I own a 2003 Road King Classic, 100-Year Anniversary Edition, and it is among the most elegant, stylish and archetypical Harley-Davidson motorcycles ever produced and forever etched in HD's rich history of motorcycle designs. Road King stands supreme and has no equal.
Man, THAT is absolutely Beautiful. I ride a 2007 black Night Train. This is what i would like to park next to that, then my personal dream HD stable is complete...
Hello Ricky Now I have also had a look at your bike - really very nicely - would also like me :-) Only the exhaust would be for the German regulations a little bit too loudly, there the next police control would be preprogrammed. However, sounds of course first-class. many greets from Germany. Rainer
Very nice bike. I sold my '98 Dyna Convertible and am thinking of buying a white 2005 Road King. When do you have to replace the cam chain tensioner shoes? Are there any problems with your year? Thank you.
To be honest, I did not keep this bike long enough to develop any problems bike only had 9000 miles so it was well-maintained. Sorry couldn’t be more of help.
Edward Weiszbeck yes when you get the tire it will rub the chrome fender rail trim...you can remove some material to create clearance on the backside of the chrome it won’t be visible so no worries. Also trim the mounting stud on the inner fender.
Ihave a HD RD 1999 classic and I´m not sure but your engine is shaking a lot. Don´t know maybe its just the video but my one is running on a way lower bass tone and not shaking that much.
I know you replied two years ago I apologize the bike ran fine ran mint. Maybe it was the horn with the rubber isolators those always shake it was given the impression that the engine was shaking excessively that bike was low miles and it ran great no problems.

Thanks Road kings are my favorite! They are the most classic looking bike built.

Hope that helps

Beautiful bike! What seat is that?
Mr Jammin Jerry It’s made by Danny gray it’s called the butt crack solo
sorry what measure of wheel or tire was put forward
What mods did you have to do to mount the 21" rim?
It’s been awhile I believe just raise the fender and trim the front fender guards back side and shorten the mounting stud for the fender gaurd.
Nice road king. What kind of solo seat is that?
Danny Gray Buttcrack solo
Very tastefully modded bike. What size wheels are you running ? Thanks
Edward Weiszbeck stock rear with 1” lowering kit and front 21x3.5 “DNA “ wheel with Avon tire.
Thank you good sir for replying. I'm getting one this summer and I may do the same. Any mods needed to the stock fender to make the new wheel fit ?
