I was reading Scarne the other day, it was interesting ...
(I'm paraphrasing here, but the essence is good!.)
His approach to a heckler was - just say your trying to do some card tricks and offer them the deck.
If they're persistent with their disruptions - simply say that's enough card tricks for today and put your cards away.
If they are among others, they may even complain they wanted to see more tricks to the person.
No blame from you, no discussion, just polietly leave -
Water off a ducks back for you and a potential life lesson for the person.
They may even think twice next time!
This is good.
However many will be happy to just walk through life drinking their own piss and as you know it is simply best to leave them to it and move forward.

Liked all three. Nice presentation. For the secon one the card prediction with DOB, can that be added or mixed along with thier chosen card too? Both prediction and their card will be a jaw dropping one. Can you give it a try?

Hi - have just found this channel and enjoy what you are doing. My take on hecklers is that, yes, they are seeking attention so the best remedy is to give them some spotlight and try to do a trick that makes them look good. If they are real jerks try something to make them look a bigger jerk but on the whole just give them their 2 minutes in the lime light and they fade away fairly fast.

That first trick ..
I use a lot ..
You can do it twice..
you do the trick as it is ..
you get them to look at the card but just don't reveal anything..
you tell them to pick everything up don't forget their card and shuffle the pack...
You pick up your deck and go through the cards looking for theirs..
you explain to them it would be completely impossible to find their card because magicians you sleight of hand and all sorts of trickery..😂
Then you ask them what if you can actually find your card..?
But instead..
You placed their original card in the second position from the top of the deck...
And you just remember the next card that is already on top..
so when they deal the cards down their original chosen card is now on the bottom of the pile on the table..
And the next force card is set exactly the same as you would do
You asked them to look at their card as you clean up everything..
shuffling the bottom card all the way up to the top..
The heckler has not shown you that second card..
But they are telling you that you stuffed the trick up 😂 ..
This is incredible Miss direction..
You can also take the wrong card and apologise...
Then top switch it out for their original ..
Once you have switched out the card..
You then predict it..
When they admit that you are wrong but what you predicted was right...
They won't remember that you've even touched to the card that they holding ..
You can then say..
But isn't that what you actually stopped at ?
The time delay miss direction makes it look like nothing happened..
Which means the car that you have wrong could also end up in your back pocket...
You would have enough time to put it inside the box..

My biggest heckler is my wife and I treat her with all the respect she deserves, believe me.
Anyway, for the first trick, one might try a little Krylon matte finish on the box and the back of the card if you have any. This is the same stuff they use on invisible decks. It might help keep the card and box squared up when you need them to be while still letting go when you lift the box back off the pile. Worth a try. The second trick can also be done with a marked deck, eliminating the need to peek, although this variation is probably best used when you're doing this as a straightforward trick without any heckler. Depending on the markings, you may not want your heckler to examine the cards.
