Thanks I managed to music sharing by pairing the sets via BT (As if they were different brand comms), then connect phone and the enable mesh on both. Works great so far.
I purchased the two pack, Connected both devices to separate phones Connected the devices using the mesh button. Tried both ways short press they both connect and the intercom works but music won’t play in both helmets. Tried the long press and both say connected both intercom nor music until I restart both devices. The x10 supports music sharing between devices. What am I doing wrong?
They emailed me back and the x10 doesn’t do music sharing. For some reason the louder newer version doesn’t do it. Probably going to buy a better quality unit instead since the exhaust on my bike makes the intercom crackle trying to filter out the noise.
@@jharris7268 I managed to get music sharing working on these. 1. First pair one with your phone. 2. Switch off your phone BT. 3. Power both off. 4. Power on the first one (the one you used for phone). 5. Power on 2nd one. 6. Hold the M button to pair via BT on the 1st one. 7. Do the same for #2. They will now be paired via BT - not mesh. 8. Enable BT on your phone and connect to #1 via your phone. Music will now play on both. 9. Now press the M button on both and they will pair via MESH and the music will play via BT on both. So now you have comms via mesh and music via BT. You can adjust volume per headset for both comms and music. I've tested it couple times, working great almost had major buyers remorse. Let me know if I can help. If #2 stutters, just press the jog once and then again. I know it sounds like a mission but ones this is done first time round it's actually quick. Reason for #2 is you don't want your phone interfering when the 2 sets pair with each other. You can skip 1-3 after you have done it before. So once you have done this once just pair both via bt, connect your phone, enable mess on both - bobs your uncle.
