To this day, I have no clue as to how Phil Upchurch came up with his absolutely one-of-a-kind remake of the famous song composed by Paul Desmond. I didn't know that Phil Upchurch was responsible for that phenomenal cool rendition. I've never heard anything from a rhythm aspect like it before or since. I thought he played guitar instead of bass, but I guess he does both. Incredible!

That would be a good video! Sometimes it's really good to slow everything down and focus on the bends or ringing the note out just right.
To this day, I have no clue as to how Phil Upchurch came up with his absolutely one-of-a-kind remake of the famous song composed by Paul Desmond. I didn't know that Phil Upchurch was responsible for that phenomenal cool rendition. I've never heard anything from a rhythm aspect like it before or since. I thought he played guitar instead of bass, but I guess he does both. Incredible!
