Great idea Dave re: the shock absorbers! Thank you
Wow looks really good with the o-rings. Definitely gonna give that a go. Thanks squeaky clean Dave
Thank you Dave! I gave the pole a good clean, in and out, replaced the tape, sprayed it with the PTFE and its looking good😊👍
Glad it was useful👍
Awesome tips, Dave. Thanks!
Fantastic mate, we wash out the inside aswell !!
Fantastic-so needed to watch this, good work Dave
Glad it was useful 👍

Top vid mate good tips 👍
Hi Dave I have followed your advice and added the o rings (links still work), thanks for passing on as they dont crash when closing too fast now. Should help for sure and have added to all my poles 👍💪
Richard glad to have been a help👍
Nice one Dave
JD thanks JD. that tip with the O rings really works
Thanks Dave, gonna service my pole as soon as I get chance, sick of my hands turning black ,that carbons a bugger to get off lol
Rick Kozarits
Thanks for watching Rick. Once that top surface has worn off I don’t think you will ever stop the black on your hands but it will help and your pole will last longer👍
I’ve never thought of redoing the tape
Great idea Dave. I'm curious how often you complete this maintenance schedule?
I would like to say every week but its closer to the truth to say monthly.
hi dave nice video could you tell me where i could get a set of clamps for a aquaspray pole from as i have been looking everywhere for them or would a set from garner be ok to use. keep the videos coming thank barry
Hi Barry
Sorry but I"ve never used Aquaspray pole so I don't know the sizes. It may be worth measuring it then contacting either or Window Cleaning Warehouse and asking what size theres are.
@@squeakycleandave1 ok dave thanks I only live a couple of miles away from them so I go their thanks
How long do you leave the ptfe to dry and set for Dave?
Steven Lee I normally spray it last thing then leave it overnight. Depending on how much you put on sometimes it’s still wet but I just put the pole together and us it. If there is to much on it I give it a wipe with a dry micro fibre cloth I keep in the van 👍
Hi dave where did you get the o-rings from?
Nathan Hogan I got a set from eBay. There is enough for all my mates in it.

what brand of tape is best?
Dan Burns I think Gardiner do a tape or I use a 3M tape from Screwfix. There is a link in the description below the video
What spray did you use?
I used a dry PTFE spray from Toolstation. the link is in the description below the video. Lately i've been using Vision Pole Spray from David Kemp of Jigsaw Innovations.
Hi mate what would you charge a 4 bed window clean cheers Russ
Russell Downes Downes it’s impossible to say. There are too many variables eg where you are in the country, access, how often, layout of properly, size of windows etc. You need to work out what price you are happy with and stick to that regardless of what anyone tells you. The only piece of advice I would give is don’t under price jobs just to get them because before long you will have a lot of work that either you don’t want to do or isn’t worth doing. Hope this helps👍
@@squeakycleandave1 thanks for the advice Dave
Anyone know what size O rings you would need?
I bought a selection in a box from Amazon
@@squeakycleandave1 don’t need that many myself Dave
What size do you think I need?
