I just reviewed these and I share your opinions on it. Adding more drivers is not always beneficial.
These are too hot sounding for me and a little too expensive compared to the competition and the BA5 is a better pick as well. CA16 is another option as well.

I preferred the V90 over the BA5, and by looking at VX frequency graphs I think i'd probably just stick to the V90
I bought my v90 last year for 20$ is it a steal and good iem today?

TRN VX will be great. The reviewers have strange ears and the graphs are useless. Get the TRN VX it is an awesome earphone for you.

@@wanaboed If you mean TFZ T2 Galaxy, I think is enough for basshead. But too V-Shape I feel. TFZ MLE (Silver Edition) & TFZ Queen Ltd are more good in my opinion.

@@wanaboed I have TFZ T2 Galaxy, MLE, Queen Ltd, King III, MLE 2021 Edition, Ibasso IT00, Hidizs MS1 Rainbow, KZ DQ6, KZ ZSX, Kbear KS2, TRN VX, TRN V80, Revonext QT2, Auglamour T100 & BLON BL03. All of them are easy to drive with my smartphone LG G7 & LG V20.
To be honest, TFZ MLE (Silver) is still my best.
If you want to drive with your smartphone easily, Hidizs MS1 Rainbow should be included in your consideration, decent cable with mic, no need upgrade cable and you only upgrade eartips with spinfit cp100.
Fun with quality bass.
There's a suggestion (Coffee Cup Guy) on how to reduce the glasiness and hotness, just put a 2.5mm x 2.5mm micropore tape on the grill.
Hi. Thanks for the cool videos, the more i search for an iem the more i get confused. I am looking for a great listening experience for general music like 80s, 90s, i can say that i don’t understand the science but i know what great sound is. I had Sennheiser ie8 but not good enough. I was thinking of KZ s10 pro. But now between theses ones, Tfz or is the TRN BA5 good? Or the KZ SZX?, etc i am lost. Ps: i actually like great sound but also powerful, price range roughly 50 approximately. Can you help me please and recommend me a pair? Many Thanks and keep the great work.
