    Sir i am a 4 hactar farmer from India I plant 2 hectares citrus plant we know little about spacing, pruning, water and weed management

      Citrus originated your side of the world, you should have better expert farmers in India regarding farming citrus.

    why doesn't the farmer want to grow the best without a University - would not private incentive commercial vs. communist state rorganized non-profit universities do the work? Why would not the farmer be doing this interview?

      These university programs are greatly funded by the citrus growers. The grower works with the nursery and the nursery works with the university and labs. The government is involved up to the point that funding from that improves growing methods, disease prevention and making growers more stable and productive. They are all working together. Improving and innovating.
