Love all your videos. I had watched the first 6 so many times so very happy to have new ones to watch over and over again. You are such an inspiration. Your quilting is so spectular but even a beginner can find one of your quilts that they can make. Ready Set Go.
To Happybirdr: Pin, pin, and pin long seams because of the way a sewing machine works. The feed dogs on the bottom pull the lower fabric away from the sewer. The presser foot on top pushes the top piece of fabric back toward the sewer. Thus, if you do not pin, by the time you've sewn to the end of the seam, your two pieces of fabric will no longer be the same length. Or, one will be wavey (or ruffled) and the other will be stretched. As an experiment, with scrap fabric try not pinning and see what happens. The try with pinning. Good luck sewing. Virginia in Ohio
Hola gracias por sus videos son excelentes, me encuentro en Colombia quisiera saber dónde consigo los paquetes de cada proyecto o cómo hago para obtenerlos, gracias
I’d like to order the PDF pattern for “First Dance” but your site is charging me $12.50 for shipping in U.S. funds. I live in Canada, it will cost me a lot more than that. Why is shipping necessary when it’s PDF?
Did anyone understand what she meant when she was talking about the “10 - 10 - 10” in keeping the strips straight? She then talked about how the machine pulled the lower fabric while the sewist was pulling the upper fabric. I thought she might have been referring to a previous instruction. Can anyone explain this a little better? I really have trouble with keeping these straight and could use the tip she is giving.
