You don’t have to credit Tom Clarence Ashley, they weren’t originally the writers of this song LOL most folk musicians borrow songs from unknown artists, you can even add verses and make it your own, no one really talks about this LOL have fun people make careers out of it! Just sing the original and not the changed versions
