I have been running Metalcloak's zinc coated parts for years with hard off-roading and deep scratches into the parts. The zinc coating penetrates deep enough to never cause any rust issues despite my deep scratches. I have had the Jeep through snowy winters and living by the coast with constant salt spray.
Very happy for both of you, may your dreams continue to come true. Now about you always telling me you have no money! Looking forward to your next off-road video.
Congrats on the success of your channel, being able to settle down in your own place while making videos is living the dream! Wishes for further success in your RUclips journey!
Congrats on your new home. May you enjoy for years to come. May I suggest the Accurair Suspension lift system for you. I know this lift is expensive but will work great with your garage as you will be able to lower the Gladiator all the way down to make it easy to get into your garage even with a rooftop tent right on top. I installed it on my Gladiator and I love that I can lower all the way down to work on the engine, have easy access to the bed, easy to wash it, and more. I also love that I can lift it all the way up and have tons of room below to work under it. It has a built a compressor and air tank so when you air down you can fill your tires super-fast. Well enough of me trying to push this, but I love my Accuair system so I figured you may love it too. Thanks again for your videos. Love your videos!!!
If I didn’t have my shocks already I would consider it but I think the first build will be with shocks and springs but I’ve been very interested in that system for the future
Congratulations on the new home! Clayton Off-road is having a Black Friday sale. Matt from Dirt Road Cred posted it on their latest video. Contact Matt for information. Matt is out of PA and can give you information on the off road parks too. DRC is a partner with Clayton and knows the lift products. Looking forward to your next video.
I have been hoping you would get your own house with a garage. Happy for you. Was also hoping you would get one with a car lift, and a diamond for that little girl! 😂
Wow… Great job guys! You have sacrificed and worked for everything you have received. As an older Jeeper, I’m proud of you guys for making it happen. I do miss Big Bird, but looking forward to your next ventures.
Forgot to mention, that even the scratches that I don't always touch up right away don't necessarily start to rust right away because the zinc is still there, I just coated over it after scrubbing lightly to rough up the surface and not remove the zinc. I'm not putting down clayton or other manufacturers, but Metalcloak really hit the nail with their patented bushing design , geometry and overall customer service. I have a JLUR so I also used their rear control arm drop bracket (DB3) for the long arm performance. I don't have their springs (yet) because my jeep was lifted already but had crap control arms and other stuff so I did the upgrade my self and can tell you that I'm on 38's with an actual lift height (measured) of 4.5 inches and I fit into my garage (here in the USA) with about 2 inches to spare. Not enough to clear a roof tent, but that's not my thing as I camp out of my jeep. I'm also at nearly 4 years and 56k miles with my suspension and I have ZERO squeeks, squeels, clicks, clunks, or any type of noise. I wheel probably 15 to 20 times a year on forest service roads and occasionally off-road parks like AOP and Windrock in Tennessee. I'm running their basic Rock sport shocks (with an actual full extension of 30 inches) and my articulation is 13 inches. For reference you can view my AOP video on my channel JeepNdirt and there are a few clips on the RTI ramp and full flex in a couple parts of the video.
I have metalcloak, but I don't care for the gold color (zinc). I used spray bed liner coating that you buy at home depot and 0 issues. Any touch up you simply paint it again (touch up). Metalcloak is the best stuff period. So many reasons why but specifically their bushing design and the amount of misalignment.
Congrats on the new house. You said you might come to pa i live in pa near the 911 plain crash. Closest park is rock run in Patton pa. Id love to meet you and wheel with you for the day. Please let your viewer's know ahead of time please. Enjoy the new place
Use PB Blaster Surface Shield for your anti rust purposes. Apply if yearly before winter. I believe you can put it on about anything. "The Repair Geek" has a channel here on the Tube worth looking at. I think he basically spays everything under his vehicles. He does long term testing as well.
@@SmokinMonkeyOG Outstanding! I'll keep checking in to see how things are going. I have a service coming out to do mine beyond what I can do. Its good to see everything going well for you sir!
Congratulations on the purchase! What city are you living in now? Pro tip, remove that red strap hanging from the garage door so nobody breaks into your garage. 👍
@SmokinMonkeyOG nope, watch some videos about garage break-ins and you'll see what I mean, someone can stick a coat hanger into the garage along the top of the door and hook that strap, all they have to do is pull it and they've unlocked the door
Call Marcel at Northridge4x4 in Calgary. They carry Clayton and Marcel is a wicked dude! Ordered plenty from him and shipping to New-Brunswick was decent! Metalcloak is 50/50 in my oppinion. I don’t like the gold coating myself it’s looks like someone spray painted oem parts to me lol but eh wtv works! If you want my 2cents, keep the stock control arm just get springs. Oem rubber bushings are the most durable and quiet and maintenance free stuff you can ever have! Nothing aftermarket is gona be as good for daily driver. I run 4.5” on my JL and stock arms and it flexes like crazy and is quiet as stock! Congrats on the move buddy 🤘🏻
Congrats, you’re finally out of the car park I’m looking to buy a used Rubi gladiator. How do you like your 3.6? I’ve been seriously leaning towards the eco diesel due to torque specs and the cam shaft problems with the gas engine.
How much do you make hourly Tobe so upgraded in lifeim curious I maken28$ \hourly and I'm not broke but if living your lifestyle with new truck and expensive housing and all brand new milwaukkee shit lol

Unfortunately the videos don’t help much financially at the moment but maybe that will change
Congrats! With big purchases comes great responsibility. Enjoy!
Thanks!
This is great news. Congrats!
Hit tip: just leave that washer machine door open when it’s not in use. This will keep it from getting mildewed inside

Would they not have to be in the garage to pull the cord which means they already broke in?

I’m looking to buy a used Rubi gladiator. How do you like your 3.6? I’ve been seriously leaning towards the eco diesel due to torque specs and the cam shaft problems with the gas engine.
Thanks!! Personally it’s been fine for me but it’s a bit underpowered
i miss big bird😊
Time for better things
Ha, you won't be pulling any axles out of it in that garage.
Least of my worries. That’s what the driveway is for
Must have been bitter sweet selling the tj. I have a hard time letting go of my vehicle's
I usually do too but I honestly hated that thing because it just kept falling apart
How much do you make hourly Tobe so upgraded in lifeim curious I maken28$ \hourly and I'm not broke but if living your lifestyle with new truck and expensive housing and all brand new milwaukkee shit lol
I’m a sales guy that’s on commission pay so if I do the math it’s $53 an hour (if I worked 40 hour weeks)
When you getting married lol
Hmm lol
Get JKS arms
I would rather go with Clayton or metalcloak
Where is Big Bird?
Off to a better home
I sure hope yall are not in a HOA?
Nope no HOA or condo community
