    Dear viewers,
In the expression "لَمْ آكُلْ" (I didn't eat), a sukun ( ْ ) was mistakenly used instead of a dhamma ( ٌ ) above the letter ك. The pronunciation remains accurate. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

    Can we say
    ما نَسِيْتُ
    I didn’t forget
    Is this correct

In Arabic grammar, Lam (لم) negation is stronger than Ma (ما) negation. When using Lam (لم) the negation is always certain and confirmed and doesn't need extra emphasis like an oath. The use of Lam (لم) itself adds emphasis and certainty to the negation. On the other hand, Ma (ما) negation is uncertain. To emphasize it, you might add an oath, like "By God, I didn't forget" (وَاللَّه مَا نَسِيت). Now, both "وَاللَّه مَا نَسِيت" and "لَمْ أَنْسَ" are equally strong in negation, conveying a clear negation.

If you prefer to use it without an oath, this is certainly possible. You're very welcome! I'm glad I could help. May Allah bless you too. Aameen.🌺
