I love Ozzy, he's THE metal icon, but him singing on the Private Parts soundtrack instead of Peter was a crime. Steele is really the most original singer of his era
I got to see Type O Negative probably half a dozen times. I always loved Peter's banter. I always appreciated his self deprecating humor. He really had great rapport with the crowd.
The second the first of his vocals on this version hit I lost it, this is such a good version that captures the feel of them live. The banter at the beginning and then the vocals hit and just annihilate you in the feels. They were a perfect balance of emotionally gripping music and not being too serious about it.
I saw TON with seplutura and Ozzy they blew both bands away. Louder and Harder than Black Sabbath they are. Peter was up on stage in his wife beater and his patented leather cap man how fucking honored am I to have witnessed them they really were louder than bot Ozzy and Sepultura.
Awesome! I would recommend to look up the original by Status Quo from 1968... had an ominous/creepy feel to it even then, in the "Top Of The Pops" '60's...... The Brotherhood was alive & well back then..... read The Satan Seller by Mike Warnke....

Ooof Type O did the intro to Cornucopia lol nice!!! Couldn't think of a better band to do it.
Most haunting version I've heard of it. It looses the calm from the Demo. This is true Steele. Haunting and despair filled.
Goddamnit it wasn't a "demo."
Mortals will never understand that.
@@gavinvalentino6002 There is a demo with Peter on vocals, that's probably what they meant.
I 💚 Type Θ Negative
Peter steele 4ever 💚

Mix up the psychedelia of Status Quo with the sludge of Type O and you get...awesomeness!!
There will never be anyone like him......Eva.......
First time hearing them play this live...love it! Where and when did this happen?

Stay in NY hippy.
Ironically enough, Peter would probably have loved your stupid comment, lol.
Man, and I thought Cracker's version of this song was bad.
Haha! Get lost. Get a life. Why are you even here then? Misery sure does love company.
