I would hate one day to see your channel just end with no explanation or knowledge of your passing. Until that day, I hope you continue celebrating this beautiful life and continuing what you do. Emmy, thank you with all my heart for this video (and all the others). I have found your channel recently and it has been of immense help: during the past year I have witnessed the premature death of two dear friends and I was confronted with the deep loneliness that can result from grief. I grew up around people that were much older than me and visibly miserable, their advice and outlook never rang true and I carried a longing for an inspiring, peaceful elder to look up to all my life. I have been afraid of growing older cause I lacked examples of how it can happen gracefully. When I found your videos, I was extremely moved not only by your words, but your tone of voice, too, your gaze and energy, and all the beauty you're able (and willing!) to transmit through this medium. Ultimately, there are no words to truly convey how touching and crucial of an experience it has been to watch your videos, however, I felt it was important to let you know this much tonight. Thank you again.
Dear Emmy, I have been struggling with existential anxiety since I was very young. Now, at 24, I’m going through a terrible time, and your videos and advice have been helping me tremendously. Although we have slightly different perspectives (I’m religious), whenever I find myself anxious and questioning my beliefs and the world, your videos are always there to help and remind me not to be too bound by human projections. Thank you so much for your channel-it gives me hope that I will grow and learn to live better. A big hug, with much love from a Christian biologist (quite a combo, haha) from Brazil. Kisses!
Marvellous Susanna. It is important to go beyond the opposition between science and religion, whilst encompassing the strengths of both. I aim to do this in an existential philosophy that tolerates all religions when they facilitate a person's sense of awe and wonder and disregards them when they become oppressive and dictatorial. Same with science. I think you are on that same path and are learning to live with wholeness and courage. Glad I can help a bit
I look forward to leaving this reality. I return to my other life outside of this reality. I remember. In fact, i did take myself out early a couple times. This is my 3rd try at this particular life. This life is a simulated life in a simulated reality. The only thing real here is the experience. It isn't possible for energy to return to non-existence. Energy doesn't dissipate, it changes form. Thanks for the video. It showed up in my feed. Yes, consciousness really is all there is, the rest is illusion that we use to have these "experiences".

In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour. Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king? Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling? For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
