I have witnessed so many times that local drivers never wear uniform except non-locals. Here, the main point is that its our own people who first hike the auto fares so as non-locals.

I totally agree that most of the auto drivers take advantage especially at night by charging more than double the fare to those train passengers.
I've also been a victim many times and I pray that the public grievances be heard from then on as assured by the DDAU President.

It's better to paste the rates inside Auto from here to there the rate is Rs 20/30/50/100 etc so that all the passenger will know the actual rates from super market to 4 miles is how much the rates is?(Rates notice paste inside Auto .
Auto fare should be past on public places so that passengers may know the actual price.

Save your negative thoughts for now and contact the given numbers when you catch them red handed if found guilty as per the union's protocol as stated by the President. That way you will contribute more to the society

In my experience
I came across Local auto drivers who returned me honestly the balance amount.
On other side when I offered that same amount to a non-local he became extremely obnoxious with his words.
I was shocked how rude and stubborn he was in charging extra than usual.
BUT
I also came across Local auto drivers charging Extra and at same time non-local Honestly dealing with the fare.
So the yardstick is not about local or non local but it is all about "individuality" irrespective of which community he belongs.
It Seems the Non-Locals are more frustrated and Angry.
The President is speaking Helplessly in front of the Non Locals .
Please Forget about charges but kindy let them know which signal to use while turning left or right. And Main problem to maintain the line while traffic jam it has been a major problem for 2 wheeler to pass tru when auto are making 3 Lane. jobor justi Driver khan.

One of my neighborhood still didn't received NAP pension salary of March month and now it is already 10th of April. They are facing financials problem.. They are Depending on pension salary after her late husband leaving 4 kids🙁..
And i wonder why dimapur treasure pension salary are always delay and i learn that last last year November to january were also delay.. Their are some old Elders, late family people who are depending on pension salary they need in time , regular month,

When i was in my higher secondary school I didn't came across a single day where the non locals charged me extra but i have witnessed the locals doing so .The locals always try to overrule n charge extra .This matter should be strictly handled .
If all the drivers are president or general secretary than all will go well.. no extra charge.. no traffic jam.. uniformed and so on...

These days dimapur city is filled with non local auto drivers. They never care for safety/traffic but only money. Never support non local especially bangladeshi. Supporting local is supporting ourself. Just imagine can we run one auto in Bihar/UP/MP/WB/Delhi etc.. They will kick us in 5 mns. Then why we allowed them protect them and waste our money???

These days in market areas like new market, hazi park we see mostly non-local autorikshaw-drivers moreover some don't even know state common language (nagamese) mostly from biharis and bangladesh.
Does the DDADU check for ILP for non-local drivers before Issuing the Autorikshaw-drivers License?

I think the auto union should fix a rate .They charge us if there is traffic jam . They charge us if we have extra baggage with us they charge us if we make them stop just for a minute.

One thing I can’t digest with the auto drivers, especially the non-locals is that they act so hero hero and aggressively because they know that they have the backup of the auto union or their fellow auto driver friends around, so they think they can get away if their friends come whenever an issue of auto fare arises. So they also charge us more money with that upper hand and advantage they got.
Day by day, they are dominating us.
See brother locals hero's backup it's a unnecessary you go wherever you go you will face the problem in other states or city local will be local

I must say auto union president is perfect for his post as for me, he always fights n speak correctly for every right concern citizens rules r rules n it sud b followed by every1. Like he said, even public sudnt judge every auto driver as fraud driver 4m dimapur, which hurts the sentiments of auto union &each drivers. I haven't seen him/talk nor mat him personally (Auto President) but watever he said is very correct n i appreciate it n wish him to fight for every right citizens of dimapur. I wonder why no one talks about seithekema? From second gate to seithekema it's 150 I think it's too much for public . And the main reason is tat how we would know that they overcharged when ter isn't any chart of the price n coz of that reason we can't say no to them do or die we hv to pay.

Second: Every auto driver details should be displayed like other states
Third: Toll contact no. should be displayed at every auto.
Fourth: Auto are the traffic breakers no doubt at all.
No personal issues with the Auto Driver Union President, it's already 4 years back, I had complaint regarding lost of my package but he couldn't trace nor help me out. Yet ok
