"how does he regenerate from drowning" every time his heart stops his abilities regenerate whatever his body lost that causes damage before he dies which is how he can blow up, his body creates new bones, blood, limbs, muscles, nerves, cells, etc that he loses. that's how his cancer isn't killing him cause every time it grows and eats at him, his body regenerates just as fast as it grows. when he drowns cause there is too much water in his lungs his body keeps him alive/conscious long enough to cough the water up. his body will stall his death long enough to regenerate instantly keeping him there til he finds the strength to get out. he could suffocate for hours before he manages to get out of the water but he simply wouldn't die.

Just a little fact on deadpool breaking the 4th wall, after what he goes through in his origin it makes him insane to where he believes he is in a comic/movie........ its nothing big but i love how the 4th wall breaking is fully built into who his character is not just something random he does
If you guys haven't seen Pacific Rim, you should, it's easily my favorite Kaiju film. They've got great actors, a fun story, and giant mechs fighting giant monsters. They do an amazing job of making every fight feel weighty, like every punch is two trucks crashing head on at high speed.
there were a couple of cheesy actors but i didnt care, that movie was like the ultimate Power Ranger Movie (grew up in the 90s), really creative actors though here and there. thats why it was good too, it felt weighty to scale... kind of a problem with Legendary Godzilla films to me (Minus One nailed the scale beautifully)
I love how this film develops the side characters, both new ones and those we've seen. Russell is a typical angsty kid, and I wouldn't image the fighting scene would be that smooth without Domino. Let's not forget about Dopinder, smashing that creepy headmaster(?) with his cab, fits the character so well

I think another way you could say it is that the abundant amount of humor was balanced well with suspense and something to care about in the first film. The second film suffers in some moments from a lack of genuine concern being built up between key characters. At least for me. The story between Cable & Russel has a lot of amazing potential but fell flat to me from a lack of real characterization. And Vanessa's death would have been more affective for me had her role been expanded some and had it come in the later second half or third act of the film, in order to coincide with other climactic events. There was just a simple lack of emotion in this sequel in comparison to the first. Which left me less invested in the story. There was still a lot of entertainment value though.
A consistent character trait with Wade is that he does not play when it comes to kids being abused. The second he realized Russell was being abused, he got dead serious. And spoiler alert incoming, but there’s a child in Deadpool and Wolverine who is an abuse survivor, and that child is the only person who Wade doesn’t crack jokes about. Wade acknowledges the child’s past without a bit of wisecracking.
I swear the first time I watched it there was also different lines in a few places that hit way better. Like when DP asks the 3 questions in the prison fight, finished it off with "Will Dopinder ever find love?" instead n stuff
There are a lot of plot holes in this movie, one is that the collar shouldn’t even work on him in the first place because he’s not a mutant, and another is when they say you can only get the collar off with a grenade only for it to literally fall off of him after he’s tackled over the railing a couple scenes later by cable
He is a mutant, his abilities were just given later in life, and happened from his torture, also the power dampening collars work on anyone they aren't just for mutants

Since Idk when else I could ask this, I'm curious, do any of you Gek boys have a favorite X-Men character, if so who? As for movies y'all should watch, I commented this before, but I think The Terminator and Terminator 2 would be great, unless all of you have seen those movies already.
I prefer Deadpool 1, but the second one has a ton of good jokes. Both have jokes that don't land as well, as well as jokes that aren't funny the second or third time, but I think the second has more of those types. Wade played off of Black Tom's name like five times. It was fine the one time in prison, and again when he called Cable racist for killing Black Tom, but he kept calling him racist to the point that the "content of their character" joke didn't land as well.
I also don't get why Russel is a Kiwi in this film. It's not relevant to the comic character (neither is the weight stuff), and I feel a lot of the aspects of Russel take me out of the Deadpool experience.
All-in-all, I like the vibes of the first one a lot more. That said, these are my favorite lines: - "What's he want?" "I dunno, but it might advance the plot." - "I'd go with you, but I don't want to." - "Jesus, Buck. No more speaking lines for you." - "God, that's lazy writing." (the first lazy writing joke was fine, but I think the second would've been funnier without the first)

As for movies y'all should watch, I commented this before, but I think The Terminator and Terminator 2 would be great, unless all of you have seen those movies already.
I have to say, I know editing can be a pain in the ass, but the editing in this left a lot to be desired.
I prefer Deadpool 1, but the second one has a ton of good jokes. Both have jokes that don't land as well, as well as jokes that aren't funny the second or third time, but I think the second has more of those types. Wade played off of Black Tom's name like five times. It was fine the one time in prison, and again when he called Cable racist for killing Black Tom, but he kept calling him racist to the point that the "content of their character" joke didn't land as well.
It would've been funnier to me if he left out the car conversation and the "smidge of racism" comment at the end.
I also don't get why Russel is a Kiwi in this film. It's not relevant to the comic character (neither is the weight stuff), and I feel a lot of the aspects of Russel take me out of the Deadpool experience.
All-in-all, I like the vibes of the first one a lot more.
That said, these are my favorite lines:
- "What's he want?" "I dunno, but it might advance the plot."
- "I'd go with you, but I don't want to."
- "Jesus, Buck. No more speaking lines for you."
- "God, that's lazy writing." (the first lazy writing joke was fine, but I think the second would've been funnier without the first)

It's a Fox Marvel movie, not to be confused with the Disney Marvel and the Sony Marvel movies. Fox got bought by Disney so there won't be Fox Marvel movies anymore. With Deadpool & Wolverine being a MCU (Disney Marvel) movie this movie's events are canon to the MCU. It is one of 19 Fox Marvel movies that have been canonized into the MCU as a result of the events of Deadpool & Wolverine.
