Thanks for the comment. You maybe right there, the dial is likely a spare part from the SRP777. However, the watch is definitely a SRPE93, and not SRP777. As stated in the video, the dial was replaced by the Seiko Service Center due to a QC issue with the lume. You can see this at the 01:17 mark.
@@watchcrave Very very surprised they gave you a 777 dial on a srpe93 watch. I always thought the 777 dial is a bit cleaner without the lume pip at 3 and basically you now have a very rare watch right from the Seiko repair shop, a 777-srpe93 hybrid of sort--very cool.
The big difference between the srp777 and srpe93 is the lume at 3. This was to satisfy the latest iso specification and why the name changed. You seem to have gotten the wrong dial on your watch. Bummer.
I have the Seiko Prospex Automatic 200M Diver Scuba Deep Blue "Batman" Turtle SBDY013 I put the MiLTAT 22mm Watch Band for Seiko Turtle Super-O Screw-Link On it . I absolutely love it.
Thanks for pointing that out 😂. Silly me, I totally missed it during filming. Lesson learned for any future videos with rubber straps. Thanks for watching!
Not necessarily, some will have Spanish or Arabic day of the week. In order to guarantee a Japanese day of the week, you'll need to source one from Japan.
Not happy at all have the prospex srpe93k and it pics up a 1min almost every hour after 11 day's was 30min in advance...is this normal anyone else having this issue...thanks
42.3mm diameter? Where, at the bezel? The case is at least 44-45mm. 42.3mm is a mini-turtle’s diameter. Also you have the long end of the strap upside down (bumpy texture goes to the inside to help wick moisture from your wrist). Indices are pressed into the dial, not applied.
First you are showing 2 different watches. One with a lime at the 3 o'clock and the other without a lume at the 3 o'clock. 1:16 watch is different to 1:24 watch.
Cheers. I kinda prefer no lume at 3 o'clock since it's closer to the original turtle. This also makes it a bit unique since it's sort of a genuine franken watch 😂.
The case diameter should be 45mm.
My apologies for the mistake 🙇♂, and also for the upside down strap 😂.
That's an SRP777 you are showing. The SRP893 has a small lume pip at the 3:00 o'clock.

The only thing is you’re missing the made in Japan on the dial ,

You also have the buckle side of the strap on backwards, unless that was your intent…
the strap length is so you can wear it over a wetsuit
Great review! 👍
Thank you😊.

Thanks for the comment. That is an indeed a beautiful turtle 🥰.
@@watchcrave thank you so very much.
Great review! Just want to comment about the strap. The bottom half of the strap is upsidedown, the pattern is the underside of the strap. 😅
Thanks for pointing that out 😂. Silly me, I totally missed it during filming. Lesson learned for any future videos with rubber straps. Thanks for watching!
Yours is perfectly alligned, I'd be worried it's a fake... :P
I know, right. Luckily it's been confirmed as genuine by Seiko when they fixed another QC issue 😂.
Is it?? At 12 seems a bit lean to left just like mine
Is that the 777 in the video? I don’t notice the new lume mark at 3 o’clock.
It's an SRPE93 with the 777 dial. Cheers.
@@watchcrave I just rewatched. Must’ve missed that part. I like this dial better. Classic and less busy.
Does the one which says made in Japan in the dial , do they have kanji day wheel option ?

Nice review! What aftermarket beacelet is that? Is it the uncle seiko senator?
Thank you 😊. That is indeed the uncle seiko senator. Well spotted!
@watchcrave Haha sweet! Great choice of bracelet, the female end links work great with this case imho

Thanks for pointing those out. My apologies, that was a mistake on my part 😅. The diameter is indeed 45mm.
Lots of issues with the video. Might be best if you throw some text in it to explain mistakes and mismatched dial.
You are Kiwi Malaysian?
I'm an imported kiwi from SEA 😉.

Same watch. Still image is dial before service, the rest of the video shows watch after service.
@@watchcrave where is the lume at the 3 o'clock?
At the Seiko service center 😂.
Okay, I would have sent the watch back and told Seiko to have the lume put back at the 3 o'clock.
And I agree with the ugly cyclops 🤮.

Where did you get the bracelet
It's from Uncle Straps.
