I stare in disbelief at how amazing this players are, I am in complete awe and utterly fail in expressing my respect and admiration for them. wow... amazing... standing ovation for them.
@guileui well. Yun doesnt use 1 frame combos that much. The thing that takes time to learn with him is just fluid combo strings so you can combo into and from anything. Other than that, you can pretty much learn his combos in under 1 hour each :p
@Kalm15 I know quite a few of these are from 2006 and onwards. even than the point is that what daigo did at his time was something very new to the world scene.
This stuff is just to amazing, Id like to comment on every single thing that happend in this video specifically but they were all way too good. Kuroda is beast jesus christ! Parry comebacks were awesome, random NEW combos and setups all made up in mid match! Like damn!
anyone notice this? Daigo and Justin match got the loudest applaud compare to the rest... few years back then, its like the hottest topic in town, the greatest come back evarrr now putting that video with the rest of other epic matches, it looked nothing short of legendary comeback anymore
@lupinyonsei @lupinyonsei The video was made 4 years later. The clips were not necessarily taken in the same time frame. People could've been doing this concurrently with that instance, in which case, no Daigo's comeback may not have been as special...but I won't say it wasn't.
@leonardobb noo. its when mutiple attcks hit u during a block, and you parry the last hit. it gives you even more time to counter than normal, but its very risky. only the best of the best do it very well.
Great ones but footage from these matches is missing ^^ J vs Match J vs Kokujin Fujiwara vs OFC Fujiwara vs RX (uriden.log) Fujiwara vs Makeinu Messatsu vs YSB RX vs Nuki Ruu vs Ma Junior Zangoef vs Rikimaru PinoAB7 vs Neon Sugiyama vs Billy Kane and more that i cant remember :(
3S will always be my favorite Street Fighter, such good memories, in SF4 everything seems to intentionally laid out. Unlike 3S which seems to have a tinge of that developer magic that let the players run a little wild with it. SF4 is kind of predictable while it took me years and years of playing 3rd strike to learn everything there is to know
@redrover3456 It's not dumb, SF3 suffered horribly cause it only had an appeal to people who were loyal to the series. Not only is it a smart business decision to open the game to the casual. But it gives the chance for new challengers to rise. Only good things can come out of it. Combo complexity can be learned with practice, and while SSF4 doesn't have the same execution requirement third strike has. The mind games and mix ups are still there. which is how the game is really won.
I've identified these (in no particular order): Kuroda (AK/GO) vs Ino (Ken); Messatsu (UR) vs Sugiyama (NE); Kuroda (Q) vs Justin Wong (CH) in Japan [Pretty sure]; KO vs RX was from a DudRyu tournament (the only one I know of); Red-parry -> Gigas- I think that was Kuroda; Evo Moment #37.
@PsychoJosh There are few good MvC2 match vids out there that utilize non-"god tier" characters. MvC2 has balance issues, but like all fighting games, there are god tier players that compensate for them. Team Z is one. Team Clockw0rk, too. These maybe considered mid to high tiers now, but these were considered low tiers back then. Justin Wong plays against Dark Prince in a money match with Jill, Ruby Heart, Ken, and almost wins.
My favorite overall was the Urien comeback against Gouki at like 6:45, but yeah there were some nasty timeouts, too. Especially the Hugo vs Ken at like 9:00
@TheFinalGoose No T6's not easy per say. its the fact you can combo longer than before. lol idk about gg ive never really played it like that just extremely casual. but i did hear that i missed out. from the looks of the other kof games i'd say its the same. im just recently getting into kof series. wen i look at the 13, i can say the same as T6 u can combo longer. its only invevitble the you can combo longer than previous games in which can deepen the game and give pros more toys to play with.
@bustatenkemo76 I have no lag at all when I play Garou on supercade. I think you should try messing with your router and stuff, or hooking directly to your modem. I can play someone from new york in texas and it is flawless.
most of those comboes are 1 frame links. in other words, you would have to have an almost precise muscle memory to perform the strings flawlessly, or years of experience/a little luck.
red parry is harder than a typical parry, followed by a 360 motion is quite quick. not to mention it was a while ago where it was way more impressive for its time
@DeathNote to me, it seems like it's more about the comeback before that happened. It was like 95% health to his 10%. I won't lie though, everything on this vid blew my mind.
@OmnipotentO - Can I just ask, out of curiosity, who's the character being played in about half these videos (the one where the Super Art is of that barrier thing)?
@Iceman2890 Because I'm sure you or anybody you know can pull off a single one of the feats in this video? People on 3S's nuts kill me, like amazing feats from world class players somehow makes the game as a whole any less unbalanced, or any better of a game. As amazing as the vid is, things like parry, an OP juggle system, a stupid stun system, and OP Supers are largely what makes it possible. They are also largely why only 6 characters in the game are viable outside of master class players
The video quality is pretty bad so it's difficult for me to tell, but doesn't AB7's Necro exceed the juggle limit with 7 hits after the throw to dizzy?
SF 4 offers the chance for people who don't have unnatural execution skill and reflexes to enjoy the game on a higher level. They are just trying to make it more universal to a wider audience so you guys can have a bigger community. SF 4 is a great thing, everyone was a beginner at one time and SF 4 makes getting into the game much easier with simpler rules that everyone can manipulate.
when for some sad reason SBO/EVO stops having sf3, they should make some official video like this to commemorate all the years of wonder that is third strike.
I hate this video because I love it so much =( makes me miss the good old days where 90% of high lvl play wasn't about spamming but about timing and cross-ups and mind games. Great game, and great video
@xeikai 10,000 thumbs up to this man. While 3S is an excellent game, and I do prefer it to SF2, SSF4 is indeed better. It's easier to pick up and play than 3S, so newer people can pick it up and learn it without being afraid of it. However, it still has the complexities, Mind Games, and mix-ups the series is known for. Not only that, but it's easily the most balanced game in the series.
This video proves that they shouldnt change anything from 3s online. LOVE this game!! You just got to put the time in. Please dont balance it or anything capcom!!!
I was giggling like a school girl watching this vid. 5 stars for sure, it was hella tight. I think I'll be showing this to my friends as proof of why I think 3rd strike is superior to the SF4 series. You just can't have the ridiculously insane moments like you could with this game.
@CustardGanet 1st let me say I'am just an AVG player with that said I don't mind Capcom making SFIV & SSFIV easy for newcomers hell! it even helped me too but I DO MIND that they play favorites with some characters while neglecting others thus giving the tools for scrubs to score easy wins much more with ability to change the match settings on the Ranking system to 1 round
I just knew the famous Daigo parry had to be at the end.
Man there are so many intense and memorable moments of this game
those red parries at 317 to 330 were nuts
and then the teching by that red urien at 640 was crazy too
3:40
dudley: eat my shit!
ryu: o yeah? *parries then combo
dudley: i can do that too *parries then combo aswell
===repeat===
Haha, I figured "that" moment would be the last one shown. That will always be a legend.
THE BEST 3S COMPILATION VIDEO EVER.
Great way to end it with Daigo vs Justin.
I stare in disbelief at how amazing this players are, I am in complete awe and utterly fail in expressing my respect and admiration for them. wow... amazing... standing ovation for them.
The best fighting game ever made. I still play it regularly :)
3:38-3:57 Best Match Ever
Very nice compilation. I was smiling through the whole video.
This is quite possibly the scariest Street Fighter video I've seen so far.
I 2nd this. I would DEFINITELY pay for a 3rd strike Greatest Hits DVD collection.
Most of these are amazing and from some of my favorite matches. Nice compilation.
Third Strike players are such a proud breed of SF players. I love Street Fighter_^)
たまに見たくなる動画やね
最高!!
9:06 Exciting🤟🔥🔥🔥
@Schweinsedge thats because its no implemented into the gameplay. in tekken theres a parry. it wont be used if its not in the game
@guileui well. Yun doesnt use 1 frame combos that much. The thing that takes time to learn with him is just fluid combo strings so you can combo into and from anything. Other than that, you can pretty much learn his combos in under 1 hour each :p

@Baronight Daigo/Justin probably also had the biggest crowd. A crowd that hadn't seen anything like that yet. Of course they were loud.
@leonardobb noo. its when mutiple attcks hit u during a block, and you parry the last hit. it gives you even more time to counter than normal, but its very risky. only the best of the best do it very well.
Best 3S vid ever. Thanks!
Great ones but footage from these matches is missing ^^
J vs Match
J vs Kokujin

Fujiwara vs RX (uriden.log)
Fujiwara vs Makeinu
Messatsu vs YSB

and more that i cant remember :(

SF4 is kind of predictable while it took me years and years of playing 3rd strike to learn everything there is to know
Thank you for reminding me why I love 3rd Strike so much.
Capcom hurry up and put this masterpiece on PS3 already.
How's the PS3 version going for you now?
@Xhaleon parrying doesnt make game cheaper quite the opposite, it makes you play smarter and not to be so predictable. it's all about mindgames
This is probably the best fighting game video of all time.
@Schweinsedge doesnt mean anything. as long as you can parry theres no spamming
Best SF3 compilation ever
@inuyashaspet - I noticed the character being used after I posted the comment, but thanks for the info on the player using him!
@FieraDevilWings That's probably the player RX using the character Urien.
@Calcos323 just because new people can get into faster doesnt mean itsbetter. it just means its and easier game.
Great video, by the way. Need MORE PinoAB7, Sugiyama, and Kuroda!!!
Standing ovation.
holy shit, epic bout at 3:39. i love third strike.
@FieraDevilWings his name is Urien
I always love seeing Fatstin Wong getting punished like you see at the end of this video.
And this is why i love street fighter 3 :)
My favorite overall was the Urien comeback against Gouki at like 6:45, but yeah there were some nasty timeouts, too. Especially the Hugo vs Ken at like 9:00

Kuroda vs. Ino had some awesome fucking moments
Best Video EVER!
Man RX is a beast!
@bustatenkemo76 I have no lag at all when I play Garou on supercade. I think you should try messing with your router and stuff, or hooking directly to your modem. I can play someone from new york in texas and it is flawless.
mind=blown
so much gldk in one video....
most of those comboes are 1 frame links. in other words, you would have to have an almost precise muscle memory to perform the strings flawlessly, or years of experience/a little luck.

@DeathNote i think daigo said it himself that parrying chuns super is nothing special
3:20 I bet that was uploaded because of the epic "WUAAHHH" lol
amazing video
These guys have Ultra Instinct abilities!
best video ever
Daigo always ftw!
this is what 3S is all about! 3S forever.
@neon6 I agree with your points, but it's a different game so you have to play differently, if you're not able to do that, maybe you're the scrub.
so much sick shit.
great vid, instafavorite
the way you can tell this is an old school video is because its so blurry
@OmnipotentO - Can I just ask, out of curiosity, who's the character being played in about half these videos (the one where the Super Art is of that barrier thing)?
The Aurum Moon, TouyaShiro urien
@Ichasharingan sorry. no matter what you say, it would never be better. no matter how many characters you add
@PsychoJosh
Oh, please. The Parry system is broken beyond belief and Chun and Yun are God Tier.
The Party systems not broken. Chun LI IS OP tho
I'd choose death before choosing a favorite clip.
The video quality is pretty bad so it's difficult for me to tell, but doesn't AB7's Necro exceed the juggle limit with 7 hits after the throw to dizzy?

@ABoffman its simple once you get the hang of it.
when for some sad reason SBO/EVO stops having sf3, they should make some official video like this to commemorate all the years of wonder that is third strike.
@TheFinalGoose But he has a point though looking a the rest.
Mainly a Q/Ken player but this video makes me want to check out Oro and Necro, among others.
I hate this video because I love it so much =( makes me miss the good old days where 90% of high lvl play wasn't about spamming but about timing and cross-ups and mind games. Great game, and great video
3:38 まさにやられたらやり返す🔥🔥🔥
Its people like this that make me go"Dang...what's wrong with what Im doing? I can't do anything like this and I have been trying for a long time"
@sonikusenpai Yeah I guess it's just everyone else making it a big deal.

RX is just....damn.
@OmnipotentO - I was already notified, but thanks.
RX the true beast
@AneurysmXX - Just 'cause you can't pull off the almighty Metsu Shoryuken.
@xeikai 10,000 thumbs up to this man. While 3S is an excellent game, and I do prefer it to SF2, SSF4 is indeed better. RX is a fucking god among men,
My only issue with 3rd strike is that it's such a fucking grind to play competitively. You have to memorize how to parry everything.
1:08 that's a huge crowd. I'm guessing it's gotta be RX vs Rikimaru or something epic like that?
This video proves that they shouldnt change anything from 3s online. LOVE this game!! You just got to put the time in. Please dont balance it or anything capcom!!!

MONSTERS.
How do people get this good? I don't nearly have close to the amount of time to game as an adult than I had as a kid
Is that Kuroda playing Q at 5:20?
Juggle limit isn't in effect when opponent is stunned.
@Calcos323 no is not balanced
@xeikai its only smart for the money. without parry the mx ups and mind games were dumbed down
SF4 just can't have moments like 10:22. Never have, never will.
wicked. whew!
