A wee bit of trivia for you. The 'May' in 'ne'er cast a clout till May be out' refers to the hawthorn bush, known as May. Basically don't throw off your winter coats till the hawthorn is in bloom 😊. Scotland has been exceptionally wet too, my golf course is sodden. Let's hope for a warm dry Spring. I love that denim dress, I've been looking for one and it looks great.

Helen, I LOVED the Broderie Anglaise dress, such a gorgeous colour and also the last swimsuit. The colour of that really suited you. I am only 5ft 2 and some of these dresses would swamp me. You are so right about the rain ........... everywhere is sodden and so damp. We can not even walk on our back lawn as it is waterlogged

Even the gathered shoulders & belt loops were so stylish & for that price?? Loved the dark jeans too with the eyelet shirt. I think the striped ‘dress/coverup’ is fab! I picture it with a hot pink tie around your very small waist & no more night shirt look. Your hair is looking lovely today. I like it that length on you!

Dear Helen!! I've had a couple of really low days but am feeling so much better after watching you! You should be a remedy for the blues!! When you started saying the 'when your boobs hang low' rhyme in a northern accent, I laughed out loud, to my husband amusement!!! That saying - if you don't like the weather wait etc. - Is thought to be a New England (US) saying too! We've also had lots of rain (better than snow) but have been known to have blizzards in May! Not exclusive to the UK!! Love the first dress - very flattering. Like the blue/white striped big shirt - don't think it looks too much like a nightshirt. Love the color of the last swimsuit - we used to call that Sugar Bag blue (showing my age!) - such a lovely color with white hair/blue eyes.

Loved the grey and navy dresses Also the white blouse was beautiful and such good prices. I’m a shorty and I don’t like myself in Swimming costumes much so I like a cover up. If I get a Two piece it looks like a one piece as I’m high waisted 😂. The only benefit of a two piece for me is that it’s easy to “spend a penny” 😝You look very elegant in your haul. Thanks Helen. Hi Helen. Very good haul from Sainsburys.Quite impressed with the first two dresses. They looked lovely on you. Very tempted by the plain t one, not so much the other two, they would gap in exactly the same place on me. The white blouse is just gorgeous, perfect with those very reasonable jeans. I don't like myself in swimsuits, just as well as I'm not keen on swimming or sunbathing, but I agree that boobs are a problem with the softer styles and we need slightly more support after we're no longer 20 or even 30! 😂 The third swimsuit looks great with the stripy shirt as a coverup. Thank you for the lovely videos; I say it again: it's like having a natter with a like-minded friend. Water everywhere here in Exmoor too! Our Spaniel gets covered in mud. I am regretting not buying him that walking onesie now. You can get waterproof ones with legs. Ah well, Spring next week. Looking forward to the next vid. Until then. Anna-Marie x

I love Tu jeans. I applaud you regarding bathing suits. I am 68 and a size 12 but have been wearing swim dresses for many years. There are some really nice (not old lady looking) ones out there. As well there are two pieces with a nice skirt. I feel more comfortable covering up my hips. 😀

My daughter also born on April 26th... popular date it seems. Loved the 2 navy dresses. Don't know if you've ever thought of doing a bon marche haul. Lots of people think they are aimed at much older ladies but they really arnt and they have some lovely clothes. Just a thought. Thanks for all you do. X
