The men's 800 final shows it's not only your speed but your tactics which win middle distance races.. Garcia must have run the least distance and hugged the inside lane as compared to Whitman and the other Brit. Always feel it's such a disadvantage once you loose position.

But if he Russians want to compete anywhere they are going to have to stop drugging their athletes.. oh and invading peaceful sovereign nations.

@Nishant Thaccker The 800 is no longer a mid distance race it's a long sprint, but tactics do and can play a part.
