I am fascinated by how these crews make a hydro handle properly. Why can some boats glide atop the water with ease and other ping-pong from side to side. Or how some boats are able to keep power all the way through a turn, where other seem to push and/or bounce around.

Yes they are T55 turboshaft engines originally from Chinook helicopters turning 3 bladed propellers.
