Thanks for the informative videos! What about metal shoes... are you concerned if a nail or shoe is loose it could rip the softstall system? It is incredibly helpful to see how an equine vet sets up his own stalls.
Hi, we only have summer metal on up here hence they are not 24-7 365 metal so that might be why since we have not had metal issue at all with these. We also still bed shavings to collect feces and urine better and maybe that helps too.
It's been almost 10 months, how is the Softstall installation holding up? Did you convert your other stalls? I'm looking at upgrading our four stalls that currently have 3/4" x 4' x 6' crumb rubber mats.
its holding up great and yes we are doing all four of other stalls, the pallet of the material came in just recently, but since the temperature is only about 0 degrees right now we plan to line the other in spring. FYI I couldnt swing the new matting right away so had to wait until crops came in to buy it=)
Thanks for the review and video on how to install. Are you related to the Speltz from Washington county who was a horse-show ring steward/judge?
Hi
I cant always put the relatives in order but all the Speltz's are related yes=)
