    Can you tell me what is the meaning of ' I might drop the top'?

    • @robertsenglishclassroom
      @robertsenglishclassroom  2 года назад

      A drop top is a car that has a roof you can put down. So “drop the top” means you put down the roof of the car. That kind of car is a convertible.

    There is not "drop over"

    • @robertsenglishclassroom
      @robertsenglishclassroom  2 года назад

      Actually, you can say “drop over” if you’re telling someone you will stop by to see them. “I’ll drop over to your place at 1:00.”

    Hi there! Just subscribed! I love an American pronunciation and definitely will look forward your next video. Is there anyone who might probably practice the pronunciation with me? I live in Russia and can tell about this country a lot.

      Yes, everyone says I have a real "American accent". But there are many American accents actually.
      I am from the northeast part of USA.

    I am little bit confuse with quize number 1. The first answer is drop in or drop by but i dont know how to answer the second blank. Maybe drop off?

    • @robertsenglishclassroom
      @robertsenglishclassroom  3 года назад +1

      I will take a look and reply

    • @robertsenglishclassroom
      @robertsenglishclassroom  3 года назад +1

      Ok. The first answer is drop by. She is stopping by the house. "Drop in my house" is a little strange, but not 100% wrong. Drop by is better. She is stopping for a short time. She "drops off a gift" for my brother. She takes it and leaves it at the house. So, you are right. #2 is Drop off.
      I hope this is helpful.
