Great video Jayden! The business seat looked really roomy and comfortable. Can't see me turning vegan any time soon though with the food a bit hit and miss. haha i’m aware. Some restaurants do say whether it’s vegan or not and it’s actually about 50% I’ve noticed. That is in Australia at least. I would always choose vegan if I can tell, if not well my eyes are shut. I already have negative comments about switching to vegan food, dropping wines is gonna drive them mad

She originates from Baotou, Mongolia originally. Since the pandemic, she lost both her elderly parents and now she is on her way to spend time with the rest of her family to spend time to honour her Mother and Father at the temple. Jayden, you're a legend mate and I'm very happy to have met you here. It just goes to show that what you want to be in life, although it may seem as one thing, that it extends into much more. You're a role model for the up and coming generation. To be honest, I'm a retired old fart but I will always point out the positives in the world today. sorry for your loss Brad :/ Might sound a bit cold but I cried over my HK cat when he passed away in 2019 more than when a close relative passed away in 2018. Made me realise how close we are to pets. Literally we set no boundaries with them. They watch us shower, use the bathroom, sleep with us etc.
the Qantas staff were def very friendly and helpful. your vegan meals looked yum, espesh the fresh fruit. my daughter doesnt eat meat any more, but she said shes not fully vegal because she loves cheese and eggs. lol. i think id prefer a seat right up next to the window, to look out, otherwise - why have a window seat. and if they moved everything closer to the window.. then there would be a bit more of a privacy gap before the isle. seeing your cat, was you in Sydney or south australia or was she staying in sydney with your friends. another great trip report :)

Got over all it😂 Definitely the seats right by the window are the best, but they are very popular and when I booked the trip 3 months prior, they were taken up already😩 She moved from Sydney to Adelaide for her new job! Now my full time housemate :)

Nice video! Enjoyed the informative and smooth production quality as always. What do you mean by 'aisle window' and 'window window' seats? The cabin is not laid out in a 2-2-2 configuration, is it? If not why is there an 'aisle window' when you are sitting right beside the window? That's a point of confusion for me. I felt for business class standards the food was a bit skimpy honestly. However the food does look delicious though. Heck, I haven't flown business class before and I'm nitpicking on premium products! xD
haha perhaps I should’ve been clearer. It is 1-2-1 but the seats are staggered. So every alternative row you have the seat closer to the window, table closer to the aisle. Other ones like my seat- table closer to the window, seat closer to the aisle. Fly business or first whenever possible😂😂

Oh, so for some you are sitting right next to the window with the console on the right, and for your seat the console is on your left. I think multiple other airlines like Singapore Airlines or Turkish Airlines adopt this config.

Is that because you don’t provide reports on some routes due to repetitive or similar reports you have made before or there are some flights that you are not satisfied to provide a report for?
The footage of the takeoff was brilliant, do you prefer GE,RR, or PW on the A330? Had no idea you were vegan!! That salad 🤣 how did you even eat that. Otherwise, it was great and the cabin service manager was realllyy kind to you. Missed the ice cream for dessert? Always loved the vlogs And the business class needs a refresh on the A330s, too basic. Stoked for the Projecf Sunrise tho

Good video Jayden, but I won't fly on an airline that charges premium fares to fly in a 17.5 year old plane. I'll take the better service, newer plane, generally cheaper fares and take SIA every time.
Just watch out though because while SIA serve one meal (a smaller meal on day flights too before landing) , Qantas and Cathay serve two full meals on Asia-Australia flights. SIA before covid better, now definitely not.

Hi Jayden. I really need to make one comment here on the late night Macca's run. You guys really need to avoid the french fries. French fries are listed as the most dangerous food in the world by many doctors. I know your young & have a high metabolism, but all that grease & fat is really bad for cholesterol. I watched the video & I just couldn't let this one go without a comment. It was great to see you make excellent use of the QANTAS frequent Flyer points. I miss the Disney store at Hong Kong Airport.
some guys who work at qantas replied to my story that day; airlines no longer responsible if the pax isn’t eligible for entry due to covid regulations, so like the fine goes to pax instead of airlines so they don’t care anymore😂

Hi Mike! The Deck is just after immigration , behind the Qantas lounge, so an extra 2 mins walk :) near gate 6.

The Qantas video and broadcast was in Mandarin back in February 2023, but at least it's now playing the local (Cantonese) version again.

Hi Jayden. I really need to make one comment here on the late night Macca's run. You guys really need to avoid the french fries. French fries are listed as the most dangerous food in the world by many doctors. I know your young & have a high metabolism, but all that grease & fat is really bad for cholesterol. I watched the video & I just couldn't let this one go without a comment. It was great to see you make excellent use of the QANTAS frequent Flyer points. I miss the Disney store at Hong Kong Airport.

I was flying the same flight the day before you did, which was 5th March. But they didn’t ask me anything about covid test at all. Strange.
some guys who work at qantas replied to my story that day; airlines no longer responsible if the pax isn’t eligible for entry due to covid regulations, so like the fine goes to pax instead of airlines so they don’t care anymore😂
