In this clip, Freeway Ricky talked about the hit television series Snowfall that is eerily similar to his story. Freeway Rick said that he doesn't support the show because he's not "into fairy tales." He spoke about being called to be a consultant on the show but declined due to his exclusion from the show's creation.

I just binged snowfall in 5 days because I was off work. It was perfect. The actors and actresses are amazing, the shots are so beautiful and I was intrigued the entire time. Absolutely a masterpiece to me.

I cant see why freeways book about his life is any different from the lady who wrote harry potter, which she owned the rights to her story. If someone comes along and creates a show with a similar story, which had different names and slight changes to places you could be taken to court. Seems to me the courts don't really care if he doesn't make any money from his story. If his story didn't involve him making money from crime he would be treated differently

The first thing I thought when I saw Snowfall was how close this was to Freeway Ricky's story. I even thought he may have helped write it but now I see that he had nothing to do with it at all, except for them borrowing pieces of his life for the show. If Freeway Ricky would've helped write it, it definitely would've made the show that much better.

My fam used to stay in south LA on the street where Rick Ross said he started and several years ago he along with 4 other dudes with a camera were walking by the house recording the documentary that’s on Netflix. I remember one dude asked if he can record my dogs that were barking at them. Wished I would’ve taken a picture with Rick but once I realized who he was, they were far away.

2 years ago and the show is still going strong. My favorite show on tv. There's a little bit of hate in his voice because he feels as though he should get paid for a story based on his life, which is valid. But facts are facts.

It's funny how he calls a show fake that he has never seen. Also he admitted in an earlier video that he had no idea what was going on outside of his role in distributing the drugs and making money while he was actually doing it.
