I really wish leaders could understand this. Great topic. Going through this now. Leaving a church of 12 yrs. No love lost. Totally stand by what they do and teach. Yes there definitely great for discipleship. But I'm in a different season in my life. And I have to be obedient to the Lord. And literally the new church is up the street from my current church. Wow God. Confirmation. Thanks Tim you sure been blessing me watching ur podcast❤️🔥🙏🏾🙌🏾

It's so true! And way to go! I agree with Tim on everything he said. It reminds me of the church I got baptized at. Years later , I would find myself elsewhere. Even where I'm at currently, the Lord said yield, but the Church I went to in a different city is where he'll want me to be later on. So, we truly never know God's ways or his timing.
Ecclesiastes 3 talks about a time and season for everything under the heaven. Some churches we simply outgrow and need more in our walk.

I love the message! In my current season, the Holy Spirit pointed me to Hebrews 5:11-14. The church was designed to teach and deploy disciplines into the world. And then rinse and repeat. We were not all meant to stay in one place forever or be tied down with a membership. We matriculate through home and school and our parents and teachers can only hope they taught us enough for us to make it on our own. Yet, some are still on milk (students) when they should be on solid foods (teachers) by this time.

Tell em. I'm not a pastor, but I tell people that wherever they are for Church to always know their season. Some stay at a church for far too long that they've outgrown. This is so good. Lots wisdom. Some will even stay primarily because their friends are there. I get it to a degree, but people should be at a church because God led them there.
Some people are too loyal to man, and not God. Even the current Church I'm at, I know I'm not there to be there for super long, but it's where God has me currently. Is there a full episode of this I can watch on Google podcasts?

A friend once told me that her husband and her could only truly disciple 1 or 2 (3 at the most) because it is like taking on another child. That's from the lips of a family who would move them into their home at times. They did life with their people. It was beautiful

This word is so good. Yes, it is so hard to leave a church, especially when you love it SO MUCH 😭 but our obedience is unto the Lord. He knows what's best. 🙌 All the love to the church- we truly are the radiant Body of Christ!
