This event was literally a team building skill test, and it's mind blowing how many people failed at it. If you had the bare minimum notion (and braincells) of knowing what to do you, you could clear the max difficulty on 5 minutes average, tops.
some people doesnt even have c1 on their 4 star character, i think thats why people are complaining. its easy for people who has c6 4 star. this event literally depends on your character, the build is from the event but the constellation depends on your account. its easier for me to 36 star with solo c1 neuv amber + c0 alhaitham and c4 kuki duo, than doing this event.

Once again, it's all about picking proper teams. You certainly don't need c6 characters for Nilou bloom or plunge xiao, neuv hypercarry... and if that wasn't enough, zyox even made a point by choosing bad teams *on purpose* and was still able to beat the event, except that one fight with the ruin chickens.
really liked this event lol, I heard some people were bitching that the trial characters keep your cons and so it's a "whale event" but playing on my friends ar 50 account I was able to clear super easy with no cons whatsoever so I can only assume that people just have no idea how to build teams, or are unfamiliar with rotations of characters they don't own
It's also building teams from that limited character pool. And some of the characters having such craptastic builds, that it makes you think the characters are worse than they actually are. And some things, like that Kuki build... 200 EM on Kuki... just no. Mind you, I got through the event without much trouble. And that's without bothering to check the builds on characters, favoring characters I want to use over characters that were best to use, and not really checking ahead of time what the enemies or special triggers and such were.
This event has 100% proven that this community absolutely sucks at this game. Just put an ounce of thought into your team and this whole event should be a breeze.

EDIT: not to mention, these are trial characters. Only whales are experienced and know how to use every single characters kits efficiently. Casuals will have to do trial and error Constellations are also a factor. Even though its still possible to clear without them, people with constellations have a false sense of "this event is easy" despite the advantage they have over other people.
I really liked this event as a newer player because it allowed me to check out a bunch of 5 stars I hadn't gotten to trial yet. I also found the last stage a bit difficult on the highest difficulty, which made it fun to actually try to buildcraft while rationing out my characters effectively
Problem is that the poor builds will give you the wrong impression of certain characters. The regular trials are bad enough, with the inflated energy and such, but some builds here were utter garbage, while others were okay...

Playing this event took a lot of tries. Because i gotta be honest with you. I dont have most of these characters especially after inazuma's release, and the ones i do play arent in the trials. So it was kinda hard to know the mechanics. Took me a few tries tho
0:40 I love how chat tries to make fun of these builds, when they themselves probably don't even go past 20cr, still build their kazuhas for dmg over triple em, expect their furinas to do well with only 110%er or worse, and an endless etc. This event proved they can't even do the most basic shit when it comes to team building. That Yae Miko with 70/140 ratio was better than 80% of people's yaes. And sure, the er on her was low but you don't burst every rotation with her anyways.
This event was easy but combat chasm event where we could pick more freely was better. Being funneled into specific characters who also happen to be new and thus need marketing and testing makes for a mid experience on our side.
This was also my issue with the event. I don't mind restrictions being in place such as the character stamina system and limiting options to 2 picks per round, but we should've been given access to the entire trial pool for each round. Some of the team comps you're funneled into due to lack of good options weren't all that fun to play imo. Meme teams are only fun for me when given the option to apply meta builds to otherwise bad teams, but trial characters come with some really awful builds which just means I'm playing bad/mediocre teams with some really cope artifacts/weapons lol.
If the trial character were good(well built) and to balance that the enemies more difficult, this event would have been ok. I first tried the hardest difficulty and still hated this event more than the current abyss(ruin serpent and wenut)
I need events like these way more it honestly helps with knowing what characters you should pull for esp since the weapons and stuff are f2p friendly-ish since its 4 stars mostly
But remember, she was designed with dendro in mind, people! Everything that works in Genshin is due to sheer genius on their part, everything that doesn't is because they're playing 4d Chess and it'll work with the next region or the one after that, and they never ever screw up.
I think the event is great, but for those who struggle with creating teams on the fly there's also an opportunity for content creators to make guides. :)

People actually hate this event?? This is the funnest combat event in ages. The only hard part is the Pro difficulty, which takes a several retries. It doesn’t even give you primos, so people shouldn't be mad about not being able to clear it. Having difficulty is the fun part! You experiment with team comps of characters you don't have

Ayato, Layla, Ganyu, Cyno, Yelan, Dehya, Kazuha with Anemo goblet, Xianyun, Xiangling with no ER whatsoever. Yes they do add some level of "difficulty" if by difficulty it means having nearly every single one felt so goddamn bad to play and still show Genshin's difficulty is within the range of videogame journalists.
Im pretty sure the guys who made the fucking game can give you the most broken builds easily, but the point of the builds arent to be meta, theyre just simulating casual/f2p/new player builds
The event was easy, you can play with only 2 or 3 of the busted characters too and clear it. But the builds were so bad. Unlike some certain people, other people actually have good builds so it was annoying that we cant even use our own characters. The event was in no way fun, i already have most of the characters and using weaker ones isnt fun. Zyox has c6 on most characters and still some of his teams were cutting it close, thats the main complaint, the builds were bad.
