You need to evaluate crop rotation between soya beans and corn, especially to maximimize soil nutrients and avoid erosion in drought and low rainfall climacting conditions. Corn needs an incredibly high water amounts, soya a lot less. It balances out.

How doess the water reach the soil? Not through cement canals, I hope. It needs to diffuse.

It still not good enough for grains. for grains, its like Self Driving, the edge cases are HUGE..It will take a lot of data and training and you only plant once or twice a year, not enough repetition to collect enough data or training..

Synthetic Image Datasets can solve this problem easily.
      Good point though.

fundamentally more efficient would be growing it at your feet.
Beans, collards, carrots - not too hard to grow.
add in some outdoor naturally grown turkey tail mushrooms (ones growing on the trees that have been there a while), and you don't need much else... (as it has B12)

We need to stop wasting good food to feed animals! It's a huge waste of resources.
