Close, but I think the UA actually edges out the sE when both are in neutral mode. I have both these mics, and I have found myself using the UA more frequently of late. Honestly, I got it primarily because I wanted to mess around with the Sphere modeling capabilities, but I'm finding that the mic is solid clean and unprocessed as well. Oh, and first!
sE Dynacaster wins for me. In just about every test I've thrown at it. I knew the SD1 was Mic A right away. It has a tone thats just okay, but the sE just sounds better on my voice.
@@yaroslavi577that depends what you like better. I love my SM7B but I generally just use that for music production. Too many people use it, so I like to be different and use a different mic. It’s all subjective
how would you put the dynacaster against the SM7b. I know the SM7b is one of your favorite of all time.. i have both and cant decide which to keep.. Dynacaster seems a tad brighter with room noise where SM7b almost gives off none for me
I love it when I think: I wish there was a comparison on X and Y microphone and then I see you've already made it! 💚🤘
SD1 for a Podcast with people chatting, Dynacaster for an audiobook.
Thanks for all the great content. You are the maaaaan.
sE is nice. A bit richer and more highs rolled off (less harsh). I like it.
I prefer the sound of the sE with low boost and high boost 1. They both sound good and I'd be happy with either of them.
Perfectly executed comparison, concise and complete 🥳

FYI the Podcastage and BSP links in the channel about are not working.
Hey, Podcastage2 can you check Aston Origin and Spirit with Vintage and 76 Compressor of a UA Volt interface? Thank you! 🤗
a hardy thumbs up lads!

I've been deciding between exactly these two mics lately. SD1 is my fav but just by a little.
