G3★ Seltas Queen Vs. "Valor" Heavy Bowgun...? - ゲネル・セルタス ヘビィボウガン ソロ【MHXX】

Seltas Queen is remembered fondly by the MH playerbase for her unique design. Monster Hunter 4 really brought a lot of unique monsters in the series, with Seltas and Seltas Queen being new insect monsters.
Seltas Queen and Nerscylla are the first insect monsters in the series to be relevant, interesting and fully-flshed out fights. The first one was Vespoid Queen, but she was actually just a massive Vespoid.
Seltas Queen's fight is alright, she isn't very interesting because she charges a lot and has basic moves like a hipcheck and some tail spinning. The real fight starts when she gets hold of the Seltas in the vicinity, which gives her some new moves and improved mobility.
She's extremely weak to her face, which normally has protection but that protection is rare, as it is present only when Seltas Queen isn't readying water in her mouth ; which she pretty much always does.
It's also possible to break her legs, making them much weaker to damage and trip Seltas Queen. Overall with her strong posture and appearance, I feel like Seltas Queen's hitzones could have been toned a bit down between MH4 and MHX.
This HBG playstyle is something I use to have good old HBG fun. I came up with this mix of White Fatalis armor and the Silverwind HBG, which is the best gun for non-siege mode pierce ammo. This gives a fast reload and great mobility and evasion that come with Valor style, but without using siege mode.
