Very true, but saving used to be a necessity before cloud saving and auto saves became a thing. Remember when your game would freeze and then you'd wonder if all of your progress had been lost. 🤦♂️😂
actually we still do 3 and 5 at least on rare occasion And autosave is both a blessing and a curse, ask anyone who's autosave saved just at the right time to get them into a unwinnable scenario to die over and over and over again. Its WHY we still have manual saving.
I totally agree we still do some of them, but they aren't as prevalent as they used to be for sure! But you raised a good point about the auto saves, I'm sure every one of us had had an autosave point that insta kills you 🤣💀
I enjoyed watching this very much. Fantastic memories. Just the other day I was going through my older gaming tote and found an unopened PS2 memory card... good times. Definitely subscribing.
Wow! Since making this, I've been looking for my memory cards, but I just can't seem to find them. 😩 Thank you very much for watching 🙏 I'm working on more videos as we speak! This form of video takes a while to put together though 😅
You probably are right there. It did get difficult sometimes if you never had the money to buy more memory cards, so you would have to go through and painfully delete valuable save files!!😂 But hey, its a talking point now I guess?
I used to use them!!! That could've fit nicely into this video! I might have to do a pt2. There are lots of things I've missed out! Thanks for watching 🙏
chaet codes prob removed so they can sell effing MTX / IAP :/. what sucks is newer games dont have hacks like would like a noclip on some the 3d mobile gamse like deadtrigger eta. only hacks new games are add things you normaly have buy, but no like getting to test maps eta.
#10: Paying for a Full Games with no Season Passes & No DLC Content.
I think I definitely need a pt 2 🤣
I mean, certain games have kept save points as a feature, souls-likes as a big example, but yeah it’s less common

You didn't mention the really old school loading from magnetic tape for 15 mins and not even knowing if it would load at all haha
Am I too young for that? I don't remember magnetic tape 🤣👀
Magnetic Tape loading brings back memories my Atari 400. 😁
I'm definitely too young I think 🤣

6. Memory cards I remember using Memory cards on ps2 back in early 2000s
Do you remember having to sort through game files? PS2 had some interactive sace files too. They would change when you went to delete them.
Spot on this mate really good video

That was kind of my point when it comes to cheatcodes with the MTC and IAPs, it's kind of sad but unfortunately thats the way thinga turned out. 😩
