The only reason she's getting work in Hollywood is because she's fat. If studio executives told her to lose weight in order to get work, I'm sure she'd do it in a heartbeat. But then she'd get lost in a sea of generic looking, mediocrely talented actresses.
Same thing with the Precious actress, her imdb page would be empty if she weren't morbidly obese.
They are Hollywood's resident fat girls, obesity is part of their brand. You want a fat "funny" girl in your film? Call Rebel or Precious. And let's not forget Jonah Hill who regained all that weight back because his obesity was the only thing making him stand out.
