I ordered mine through AT&T website and got my expected delivery date on November 3rd.

I went back earlier and now their pre-orders are now dated for December delivery.
Going on a ton of comments so people know that Xfinity mobile has both colors still. This is a good plan if you get your cable and internet from Comcast

The reason you got a 2-3 week delivery isn’t even your fault, the site went live late for a lot of people because there were servers for different areas or something, some people got in minutes before
I ended up getting an iPhone 8+ instead of the iPhone X. While I love the edge-to-edge screen and the higher res screen on the X, the notch at the top and also a lack of Touch ID really put me off getting one and I decided to get the 8+. While the 8+ isnt a massive upgrade for most, it has been for me as I was previously rocking an iPhone 6 which felt as if it was powered by steam at times lol and the 8+ has been super fast and has an incredible battery life, so Im very happy. Glad you got your pre-order in David and its annoying that you couldnt get it for novemeber 3rd, but thankfully you dont have to wait too long after launch for yours.
Gari Clark I was gonna get the X. But, when I saw the price, I got the S8 and so far so good. Maybe next year, I'll be back to iOS.

If you enjoy the 8+ better then thats cool, it amuses me when people complain about the price though since most people use a plan to pay and buying the X over the 8+ just means you end up paying 10 dollars more per month over the payment period.

but im paying using a plan so i wont have to pay the entire amount upfront. Paying anything above 1000 is too excessive but i really needed to upgrade from my iPhone 6 so i went ahead and got the X. Hope its good.

Gleb Sokolov no I just ordered from Verizon. My 6s+ is already unlocked so I didn’t see a point of getting another unlocked phone. And Verizon started preorders 5 mins early so that’s how I ended up getting one on the third.

Did you put it in your favorites? It allowed me to check out in 20 seconds still got a shipment date of 11/10, for T-Mobile, hopefully it’s moved up.
David Di Franco u should have used the app - it came on much faster than the website. Your shipping was pushed back because there were already thousands of people done with the order who used the app.

You should've used the app. I was trying in my iphone and mac at the same time and app worked before the web. I'm getting mine the 7th because i forgot to put the billing address

Congrats, David! It seems that the silver model had less supply available than the space grey. Most people who ordered space grey within the first 5-10 minutes seem to have 11/3 delivery dates, while the silver models had a wait much quicker. Also, just a heads up in the future, the iOS app always seems to be the most seamless and quickest to go live, but you have to actually force close and re-open repeatedly to get it to the product page. I know you tried that once but had you done it a few times right at 3 you would have likely gotten in faster. Using that along with Apple Pay and saved billing/shipping info really speeds up the process.
I did the EXACT SAME refresh process (on multiple devices) that you did but I went with T-Mobile and got a delivery date of 2-3 weeks as well.. Hey, it's better than 4-5+ weeks!!

Laura B iPhone 7 is a great phone! I had it. The iPhone X is not worth the money especially since you're getting old tech which has been in Samsung phones for years. My Galaxy Note 4 which came out in 2014, still has a better quality OLED screen than the iPhone X.

Ghost777 How do u know the Note is trash? Have you ever owned one? Have you ever used Android? I've used both iPhone and Android over the years. I started with the iPhone 3G as my first smart phone. The latest iPhone I had was the 7. I can tell you that the iPhone 7 is an excellent phone in many ways. The camera is great, the fingerprint scan works flawless. However, Samsung is years ahead over Apple. Look at the screen in the iPhone X. It's OLED. Did you know that Apple bought the screens from Samsung for the iPhone X? Look it up. Apple didn't get the latest and greatest either. The iPhone X sports an OLED screen which is slightly inferior to the Note 4s OLED. Btw, the Note 4 came out in 2014 and shoots 4k Video. What say ye??

I preordered from Argos in the UK and got shipping for Nov 3rd, bought £50 worth of accessories, was happy all day that I got it for release date then Argos called me at 5pm when every other place on the planet had sold out and told me they’re not fulfilling my ordered and are going to give my £1,000 back in 7 days. Customer service where complete shit, worst I’ve experienced, safe to say this years iPhone release has been shit for me. Don’t have a clue when I’ll get it now, followed all the rumours, leaks you name it, all year, took a day holiday at work to watch the Keynote, one of the things I look forward to most.

My AT&T wait time was 9 mins. I secured a Nov. 3rd delivery. BUT, I didn't research it this year to know more about it and ordered black instead of silver because I was nervous and in a rush. That's okay though because my iPhones always go right into a case. i rarely ever see the body of the phones. The only time it matters to me is when I am re-selling it, and lately I've done buy-back programs so it doesn't matter.
AT&T's website was so glitchy last night! I ended up getting a 256 GB Silver for delivery on release day!

I fell wasn't able to place my order until 2 hours after pre-orders began, and mine is still shipping between "Nov. 2 and Nov. 3rd" through T-Mobile. Interesting...
I sat and waited like 30 minutes for the AT&T count down bar and mine is expected to arrive in 11/3/17. You got yours in 60 seconds and have to wait 2-3 weeks. No rhyme or reason.
I'm from the UK. I've had only Sony phone's, but decided a change and the iPhone X in my opinion looks incredible. For some reason when pre ordering, I got redirected to the American website. Took a few seconds to get back to UK. ETA for delivery 28th November -_- Still looking for to getting it.
Pre ordered with having to set up APO/FPO forwarding in 256gb. Wasn't as bad as expected. Won't see till Nov 17th/27th due to being over seas though
I order d through Verizon. They went up like 6 minutes early. My pre order was in before 3 am eastern time. Verizon has proven the most successful like 2 years now.
You should've setup apple pay and default address and put the phone model you want in your favorite list. I did that and the whole purchasing process was less than 10 seconds for me and I got the deliver timeframe for Nov 10th~17th
The delayed shipping date is due to pre-ordering through apple. I went through Verizon and was done with my order by 303AM and my X is currently in shipment. Apple dropped the ball big time this year for all people using their Store app and website.

Irvin Rodriguez Silver is the better color because you don't get the finger print smudges and also since it is a bezeless border you don't have to worry about getting white on the sides when you look at the phone from the front

honestly when you got to the payment info I was about done ordering the phone like many other people who used the app and had everything synced in so only our fingerprint would be asked and bam! payment info, shipping everything with the fingerprint and done.
And I canceled mine and did mine again an hour later , and it still let me pre order
i did it on the sprint website at 10 am set and have it coming on the 3rd...
