You didn't demonstrate the gear. Are you kidding me? A 10 minute long video on a fire/starter neckless and you didn't give us one demonstration. Really? You didn't even try to strike it once.

Those are cool. Better to have that little guy on board than to have to rub sticks together. 😂 I’m looking forward to the demonstration. Don’t forget to scrape off the protective coating first. When you’re done you should paint over the part you scraped so it doesn’t rust against your skin. Take care 😃🤜🏼

Dang I hate to hear that gregg prayers brother. I know your busy but all I ask is you watch one video of mine it say a little about me. Only time I show my face but it explains my absence from time to time.
Be interested to see how the ferro rod reacts to sweat, I've gotten one wet before and it started to smoke. and dissolved a bit. (not that brand) it was a bayite from amazon.

Just picked up a pack of the ferro rods for necklaces 9 bucks then I used an old hacksaw blade and a piece of Paracord either the first one cost me 10-12 bucks or I got a bunch for about 1-2 dollars a piece.......good vid though

This is a waste of money. It's a gimmick. In practice it would be nearly unusable.

In practice? It's more of an emergency/last resort piece of equipment than your main fire starting gear. I say in the video, this would not be ideal to learn how to use a Ferro rod. This would be if you have nothing else.

@@Dr.Prepper1 90 percent of survival is in knowledge and preparation. I would not put myself in a position where this tiny ferro rod was between me and armageddon :) I would have (and I do) multiple redundancies of better utility.
