Any idea what percentage of these potential hires at say $10/hour would be able to competently, quickly and accurately reply to two master email inboxes and handle a business calendly calendar? I get the feeling we might be talking in the top 1% but I have no idea. By quickly I mean within 5 minutes, not whenever they feel like it. Would working U.S. time zone be a huge issue given your experience?
Good stuff. Though $3-5 is that for a an entry level GVA? Im not sure if that is still the range offered in the market right now. If you are hiring from Metro Manila and if the VA is highly skilled, it could go up to 10-15.

I respectfully disagree with someone in the Philippines living comfortably with $500- that's simply not true. The ones who are making minimum wage are living a horrible lifestyle- meaning they don't have savings or emergency funds and couldn't afford healthcare. $3-5 is average is average salary in the Philippines. This is from someone who's living in the Philippines.
Awesome question Robert, yes the virtual assistant should be able to take incoming calls, depending on your business they may not be able to sell, but they can pre-qualify and filter out anyone that is not a good fit. If you want to talk about how we can get you one already trained on this please book a time here: www.scalingwithsystems.com/va-application?
Do clients generally provide health benefits with a HMO or are VAs generally seen as self employed and therefore responsible for getting their own HMO organised?

So if $3-5 is average salary, then what is minimum wage?
I saw a VA post themselves at $1.69 an hour
I agree. It's like the Americans who live on a minimum wage. With the high cost of living. It makes it difficult to live comfortably.
Well average is good for a low skill task.
does the VA take incoming calls? or would i need to delegate this task individually?
