- In episode 21 of Saint Seiya Omega, Kouga meets a mysterious stranger, a mysterious stranger in a furlined cap pulled down over his face, a warm jacket... and leg warmers Of course, eventually he discovers that his new companion is Hyoga, the Bronze Cyngus Saint from the original Saint Seiya series. I THINK he attacks Kouga as some sort of tough love, or to prove a point.
Still, always nice to see the classics, even if he does always look like he's doing an odd version of the Funky Chicken when using the "Diamond Dust!" attack

It's a good thing it was Hyoga testing Kouga. If it was Camus, he would have used either Freezing Coffin or Aurora Execution.

He's trying to help the boy not murder him before he has the chance to save Athena.
Camus doesn't seem to be like someone spamming these moves. Otherwise the Hades early part would ended quicker with him starting to freeze every Gold Saint instead of using Diamond Dust.
One of the most beautiful moments of this anime; I shedded tears of happy nostalgia.

Hyoga attacks Kouga to help raise his cosmos, because Kouga was upset about losing Aria. Hyoga understands how he feels because he lost his mother. However Hyoga mother is dead and Aria at this point is still alive so Hyoga is helping Kouga to raise his cosmos so that he can save Aria.

so cool that they used Hyoga to teach Koga this lesson, about fighting for those that you love... for the hard die fans, this is a nice tie-in with Hyoga's own classic battles with Camus.

If you're ready to accept some changes and some up and downs (just like the original) because it is a long-running serie, yep it's worth watching. It has nice reference and callbacks and sometimes knowingly twists what you'd expect.

Curiosamente no es un error. En la continuación oficial de Kurumada "Next dimension" Hyoga tiene ambos ojos sanos, por lo que su herida en el ojo debió ser algo superficial de lo cual terminó curado. Shiryu por otro lado aun los tiene cerrados, pero se están recuperando.
I know this is 9 yrs late but i think omega is a sequel to the saint seiya anime and not manga so in omega the hades arc never happened
