I was trying to decide between the Fiido M1 Pro and the Engwe Ep2-pro and in the end I went for this bike. My reasons were that 750W can often be a bit too powerful from an ebike. The higher torque often makes the acceleration feel a little more than you bargained for and the top speed is way more than you would actually want on a bicycle. The only pro of having that extra power is for climbing hills, but that's not too much of an issue for me as I don't mind also getting a little bit of exercise on a bike. Another real pro of the M1 Pro is that the handlebars are considerably wider. The handle bar on the Engwe is absurdly short which I imagine would make the handling very jerky. Full suspension is also a big plus for going off the beaten path and having a little bit more fun with the bike. Haven't received the bike yet but I'm very happy with my purchase.
A bigger crank at the front makes hills harder to climb that's why mountain bikes have smaller ones. and I think you will find the rattle is the battery in the frame. I have the standard m1 love it.
You are correct, however when the wheel diameter comes down to 20" you need the bigger crank to not spin out completely at 25mph with a 11tooth on the rear. The mountain bikes have 24", 26" and 27.5" all the way up to 29" wheels can maintain 25mph with a smaller crank. On a rear hub motor it can do say 15mph on 500watts regardless of front chain ring up say a constant 6% smooth gradient. Hope that helps.
Cool! With a lack of public transport in the Philippines this last year of lockdown there are many more bicycles out and seeing a few models of electric also.
Fiido bikes look great, BUT I wish reviewers would talk about long term durability, customer service support. To me customer service support is 50% of The whole experience. @@honeybadger9425 wow thanks so much for your input Honey! I’m glad this company has worked so well for you! After reading this I’m gonna go to their website and check out their products! Even for the US they’re prices are good!
@@seleneperez7322 If your in the US your lucky you have alot more options i would look around tbh. Trouble for us in UK is the gov made it very expensive to import ebikes over 250w. I assume Fiido caught on to the gap in the UK market and get around the this by importing the bikes in bits to their UK warehouse then build them in the UK and that keeps the prices sensible. Like i say our 62% dumping tax makes importing a fully built ebike very expensive for us, say a £700 ebike from China becomes something silly like £1600 just with all import fees. In the US you have none of that worry and you can get much more powerful ebikes for cheaper.
This rear suspension is nonsense. Just put a big universal saddle on it with a backrest. And you will feel like you are floating down the street. You can buy mudgaurds relatively cheap. And the weight of the bike is an advantage. It makes the bike get taken more seriously by others on the street. From pedestrians to even car drivers. I own an ADO A20F. And the respect I get on the road with that bike. I cannot tell you. Its built like a tank. I never got that respect when I had a road bike. The power and build of that bike. And the sound of it. Makes people take you seriously. I love it. I carry a spare battery in my cargo box. And take my rightful place on the road.
I have doughts if this frame around the battery will last long and be stable enough - If it does not, the battery will carry with and you can't remove it anymore... My bikes usually survive around 10.000 km, then the steel pipes brake in the middle... How thick is that frame and what material?!?
If you are using a bike like this to commute to work and back mostly on roads. It will Last for years. If you think you are gonna rough up a bike jumping curbs. And rough off reading few bikes are gonna last long. When I buy a bike for sub £1000. If I get 18 months use out of it. I'm over the moon. And if I like the bike I will buy a new one or the latest model. Over that 18 months I will have saved alot of money in train and cab fares. So that's how I look at it. I spend £800 to £1000 on an ebike. It saves me at least £1000 over the next 18 months. And I get exercise too.
Unlikely if you stick to 30km/h max. But if you ride about at 40km/h then there is a chance. They could fine you and even take the bike of you (If you broke road rules etc)
I don't really get the point in this personally. A) I don't think cadence sensing lends itself to any sort of all mountain, trail riding b) the suspension is completely useless, I don't know why they bothered adding it. Enough. I havent found a hill I couldnt get up. And where I live in south east London theres some steep ones. And the M1 PRO takes them ALL.
“A larger chainwheel would help with the climbs” Are you sure about that? 🤔
Can the speed be reset back to factory speed after unlocking?
Yes you just hold a button and pull both break levers basically at least thats how my d4s works.
OMG!!! cool ride 😍

Can the battery be removed to charge without being in bike
Yes it can.
Can I just park this anywhere else? I mean safety of the battery ? Can anyone get the battery after folding ? Security of the battery? Thank you .
No without the key they cant its locked in.
Handlebar lock came broken and my bqck mudguard required me to pull the tire off🥵 otherwise good, charging now
how wide is the bike when unfolded?
I have a really tight storage room and I don't really trust the measurements on Chinese websites ahahah
Bikes not wide at all. About 21 inches.
Is the battery replaceable?
Yes it is
I am 1.95m. Can i still ride it somehow?
Got same question to the reviewing guy :) I'm 1.87 and 105kg

Depends you will have to crouch over a bit. The handlebars cant be adjusted theyte are set at 106 CM.
The problem with fat bikes is that the tire leaves the rim when you get a punture 😱
And you fall off 😰
You get a lot less mileage out the battery
Not in my experience.
This crank sensor isnt a torque sensor like the m21
After seeing one of these in person and seeing the welds, they match up with the vids I've seen and those welds are horrendous. The bike feels and looks cheap to me (at least cheaply made).
It would be great to get a comment pn how it has eorked for you long term . Thanka
Looks good
Hi. Do you need license to ride this bike?
A bike that may give a good impact on other passengers when bringing it into buses or trains.
Awesome :)
Thanks 😁
Good review 👍
Suspension sounds like crap.
Cheers
All fiido bikes rattle
I've got the L3 and it rattles and the battery rattles 😱
You get what you pay for This bike can be had for less than £900 now. And for that money its INCREDIBLE.
