Great to see the rock going in. You are doing an amazing job. We were at this point a year ago on our 18 acres. We built a 750 foot driveway and a 70 foot square building pad. We are still building at the drywall finishing stage. It takes longer doing it yourself but you will have a greater connection to the property.

Thank you! It has been so fun watching it all come together and knowing that we learned the skills to do it ourselves. It feels like “home” because we have sweat over every step! I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I am enjoying finally living my life! It’s showing me what we are truly made of and capable of!!

Enjoyed this episode. Still not understanding how a level string means the rock foundation is level: I will ask my husband and get educated like y’all are!
We are students and never stop learning: good for our brains 😊😎

Thank you. I’m glad you’re here to share in it. I didn’t understand either. He explained that he measures a point on the steaks and makes that line level. Then he
      knows how many inches
to add to each side to make the ground level. It seemed to work! Lol.
