- Former DGP TP Sen Kumar criticises the State government and the Central Government for awarding Padmabhushan to the ex-ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan who was accused in the ISRO spy case. Senkumar asks what is the merit of Nambi Narayanan to bag a Padma Award and he says that this will give rise to a trend in which criminals like Govinda Chami can claim Padma Awards in the future. TP Sen Kumar was one of the officers who took a stand against the scientist in the controversial case in the early '90s.
