When you actually come to the realization that it all has to come back apart AGAIN...that's quite a motivation killer. I certainly have been there on projects like these. But eventually you rally yourself and dive back in. You did a great job. Great video too! Thanks for posting it.
Best of luck, I hope it’s an easy fix before you go all in. I hope my video is helpful. Feel free to send ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to assist
Really enjoyed this one butch. I could feel your pain lol. You've got a great first mate though. She's a real gem. Look forward to the next one. I installed a Marine Air system on my Morgan which was an absolute nightmare to to space restrictions, but man was it worth it.
Thanks brother! You definitely know the pain. She is definitely a great one to have on board. I appreciate it as always. Oh man you bet, having a solid working ac is priceless!
@@AquaCultured Hi, we are looking at a Europa this week, the generator doesn't put out electric, so your video explains what I might be doing. Thanks again Ed
Well fudge not easy, ugh i have about 80% less room than you have. Mechanic said he would not tackle it with out remove the whole generator. Well thank you I am going to try it any way. Sorry to hear your mistake, but hopefully i won't make the same mistake.
Ugh! That’s not fun! I really hope you can make it work. Space is rarely on your side on a boat. I know I had just enough space to back the stator housing away from the block to clear the armature with out having to move the whole engine forward. Best of luck, keep me posted!
I GOT A WESTERBEKE GASOLINE GENERATOR IT IS 9.5 MCGA ( 60HZ ) OUR PROBLEM IS THAT OUR SYSTEMS BURNED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE REASON WHY? WE THINK ABOUT THE ( AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR ) THE AVR UNIT. OUR QUESTION IS , IS THERE AN AVR UNIT FITTED IN THIS GENERATOR???? PLEASE SEND ME BACK YOUR REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
I am not sure about the gasoline setup. But mine definitely has a voltage regulator. You would want to verify what voltage your unit is producing. What systems are you talking about that are being burned out? You can also reach out to Broward Armature down in Lauderdale or Yacht Power Products in St. Petersburg

Absolutely! Huge motivation killer. And you are so right, you just have to regroup and persevere. Thanks so much!
Great to see that you keep up with the maintenance. Enjoy brother. Band of brothers and sisters 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Right on sir!! Appreciated!
Great job explaining the generator. You are great. Look forward to more of your videos. Thanks
Thank you for your support Larry!
Thanks for making the video. I have a few things to test before I get into removing the back end. Fingers crossed 🤞

Great job! How many hours on the generator?
My 15BTG back end just went out. Yay
Boat work can test your resolve
You know it, Harold!

You are far luckier than most with the amount of room you have around the gen set.
