btw tanner i just wanna say when we played Mario kart 8 during the livestream i was using a kai mii and rebooted's car for kai i hoped you would've noticed but you didn't it was a good setup tho and had good stats but i just wanted to keep that in mind also i got 5th place every time including in final rankings and this is also a refference to the ammount of ninja that were currently in rebooted

That's why I really like the Lego Ninjago movie suits. There were other suits that had a lot of black in it like the deepstone and the elemental robes, but I think the lego ninjago movie suits are my favorite. I guess Zane it the only exception because he has mostly white. You can also move their heads in a full 360 because of the mask.

greenflame is the type of ship that needs to stay in the fandom world and not in the canon world
Kai and Lloyd are presented as two close bestfriens/brothers in the canon show, but on the Ninjago shipping commutiny, some people like to bring their relationship further, thats all.
(dont be made at them or harass them, it is just the point of a ship, "put two characters in a relationSHIP. it's just a lego show and it's just a fictional ship :))
They're the kind of brothers that go for drinks and play pool casually.
And the worst part is lloyds is significantly younger than kai,kai is a true teenager/young adult lloyd is a child in a teenager body and in s8 he litteraly JUST BECAME A TEEN so yeah greenflame just just no no no

Personally any other pairing of the main four has more merrit than greenflame imo. Lloyd will always feel too young to be paired with the other ninja, and lloyd and kai especially have a great sibling dynamic.
The ninja raised Lloyd together, I honestly don't think Lloyd should be shipped with any of the ninja.
I'm a huge Kai fan but like, Lloyd being saved by Kai was still one of the best choices ever done and now we have a well-developed green blonde boy
Also duuuuude the elemental hot take I 100% agree with, it could especially work for an evil Kai season which really should happen
Also there's some issues with the Tournament of Elements hot take.
1. The Power Of Creation is the 4 elements the first 4 ninja have, which I'm sure Chen had as of that sentence.
2. Water and Wind are the only uncontrolled and untamed elements that really don't belong on that list.
3. Time is the only one I do agree with. Then again the script came seasons prior to HoT

Hot Take: I think Lorumi (sorry if I spelled that wrong) is a toxic relationship
Morro and Harumi as a ship in the afterlife and bonding over the fights they had with the ninja and bonding over Lloyd and this obviously taking place where the overlord didn't show up again and crystalized didn't happen or went different.
Although I do still wish they brought back Nadakhan or clarified if Cliff Gordon was dead before Jay's wish or if Jay's wish killed his dad which wouldn't make sense since after that series everything was supposed to go back to normal.
Greenflame happening wouldn't make sense. There is no buildup to Kai and Lloyd's relationship in a romantic way, if we just go by what we've seen on screen, all ninja see themselves as brothers.
I love the concept that Onis can learn how to love and they aren't all evil destructive assholes, we didn't get that when Mystake was brought into the series.

As a person who's watched Dragonball and Ninjago, I can confidently say that Goku would not lose against Lloyd. Golden power probably goes a long way, but Goku's power is literal on god level, not to mention he has Ultra Instinct

When it comes to oni Lloyd I’ve made a long af alternate ending I don’t feel like copy-pasting here but I think they just didn’t do enough with it. I kinda liked the idea of Garmadon actually dying and Lloyd losing control over his power and unlike what the idea was originally going to be, I like the idea of him having to be reminded who he is by his friends (and a confirmation of Lloyrumi but that’s a hot take of its own) I just wish we saw more of the oni Lloyd. Especially in battle, his father dying basically could’ve provided him nearly unlimited power, and I wished we got a bit more than what, 10 seconds of it?
What I don’t get is why everyone keeps saying that if Kai leaves Lloyd to die in the volcano, he would become the Green ninja, he literally killed a child

1:15 I agree to disagree with that. While I do hate the Hunted suits, I really like the SOG suits. 8:24 I agree with that completely! I love Ninjago core. It’s an experiment that Ninjago is trying out, and I would say that it succeeded. 9:05 I agree with that also! While I do think that oni Lloyd should’ve gotten more screen time, I am happy with what they did with him.

The only reason that I’m not as into green flame as I was before, is because Ninjago never clarified the ages of the ninja, and they never clarified if the tomorrows tea still meant that Lloyd was a child mentally, despite physically being the same age as the ninja after that episode, I would understand if the second he turned into a teenager that episode, and he started shipping it, that would be weird, but most people didn’t start shipping them, or at least, I didn’t start shipping them, until around after possession, or just may be the whole Cole's season happening.

I don’t think that Kia and Nya’s parents suck. First of all, they didn’t fight to see their children because they didn’t want to take any chances of their death! Bluffing or not, Crux had a very frighting threat for their parents. Any parents would do what they must to keep their children alive!
Then, they didn’t visit until Kia calls bc they must of thought they were busy. Being a ninja and having to protect a large city-and sometimes the world- is a hard and difficult job!
And they don’t visit after their daughter is back from the ocean from a year bc they must have not gotten the news. Nya and Kia and the other ninja were busy trying to figure out a mystery-the Crystal King thing, and didn’t have time to call or let them know that Nya was back.

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but in the regards, in terms of trauma for all of the ninja, I don’t think they had enough reflecting on the trauma, and if you say, it’s a kid show, Lloyd literally almost died in a volcano, Nya was literally killed off twice, Zane was killed off once, technically twice, if you count crystallized,Cole almost died in SOG I think that's the season. And everyone's theory he's an oni or half oni is freaking awesome! And I wish we got something about that! It would've made Lilys backstory more amazing! And make more sense to justfy Lou being an ass and not wanting Cole to be a ninja. Edit and Lloyd saw his grandfather that one time after getting a pillar fall on him..... A PILLAR!

Kai; lost his parents and had to watch over his sister as a young child, taking up the mantle as the blacksmith, lost Lloyd to a possessive spirit from the departed realm, lost Nya to the ocean, lost his powers several times, and has aquaphobia.
Jay: Learned he was adopted after a wish and accidentally killing off his dad, accidentally murdered Nya to beat Nadakhan, was almost turned into a full snake from a skeleton snake bite, was forced to fight Cole in the tournament, lost Nya (and his temper in crystalized) and fought Kai.
Zane: Learned he was a robot the entire time, blew himself up to save his team, (probably lost his bird friend too), Learned his creator was alive, who had built a second Zane, AKA Echo Zane, has been beaten down by another nindroid(?), almost crushed by Garmadons stone Titan, was sent to the Never Realm and became the Ice Emperor, nearly lost P.I.X.A.L in S3(?), turned off his emotions after the loss of Nya, nearly Crystalized after gaining his Shurikens back.
Cole: Lost his mom at a young age, was turned into a ghost and nearly fading away, fell off the bounty into the thick clouds of the Oni, felt guilty for losing the travelers tea in the never realm, under stress from his father wanting him to be an excellent dancer/singer (forgot what specifically.), barely got any cake in later seasons.
Nya: Literally became the ocean to save Jay, was captured several times and nearly died half of those, lost her mother and father at a very young age, had an identity crisis, and a love triangle crisis (we don't talk about that.), nobody liked Samurai X for a bit.
Lloyd: Where do I begin? Abandoned by his own mother at a school specifically to teach evil, released the serpentine from their tombs, nearly dies in a volcano, lost his uncle to a giant snake, aged up rapidly and barely had time to grow and live a childhood, lost Wu to the digital overlord, had to fight his own father, had to send his own father to the departed realm, got possessed by a ghost from said departed realm, lost his golden power to the overlord, was made leader of the team by Wu who was rapidly aging by the time blade, got the step father treatment from Garmadon, thought his team was dead, twice (Hunted + Crystalized), got played by Harumi, literally died and met the First Spinjitzu Master, nearly turned into a full blown Oni and thought he lost his father again.

I completely understand the golden master concept, but what kind of pisses me off still is because Lloyd still is afraid of being like his father despite everything that’s happened, I would think they would address that in therapy or some thing, but I guess ninja don’t get paid to go to therapy because they don’t get paid at all, apparently, bringing me to the fact that I still despise Misako in parenting aspects, and prefer KoKo as a mother to Lloyd, she didn’t abandon her son, and she sure as hell would’ve made sure he got therapy, Misako kinda failed Lloyd tbh and Wu wasn't any better. At least Garmadon tried to fix his relationship with his son in the movie and series after the fight between good and evil.
Despite the movie just being mostly humor, he definitely had a much better mother in it. I agree.

Not sure if this is really a hot take… But people need to stop shipping Lloyd and Harumi. It is a toxic and abusive relationship. Harumi traumatised Lloyd. And wether she’s changed or not it is not ok. Like, I get it, people enjoy shipping a someone with the person who ruined that persons life and etc. But please ninjago, don’t make it an actual thing and DEFINITELY DO NOT claim that it isn’t a toxic and abusive relationship, I can’t stop people from shipping it. But if it’s a toxic and abusive relationship don’t be in denial that it is. At least admit it. PLEASE. Also is it just me or has Lloyd been mentally and emotionally abused by multiple different people throughout his entire life. And to this day everyone clearly just loves to make Lloyd suffer even more :)
While greenflame could never work in the TV show, it could've possibly worked in the movie-verse. in it Lloyd is mentioned to be sixteen, or older, and since there was no aging tea, and he looks around the same age as the others, its possible that Kai and Lloyd are close in ages to each other. Skylor, Harumi, and Akita's versions also haven't been introduced in it, so there's no risk of letting a healthy relationship die, by pairing the two. And since it is also an alternate universe, they could make them gay in it, without effecting the shows characters. Not that I'd really like that to happen, since it would block me off from watching a possible sequel, but these are just the statistics.
The tournament being delayed wouldn't work at all because the time twins would be lost in time morro would basically go back to where he was

I have a theory that lloyd still has gold power based on his oni form because every oni we've seen before him is black but when lloyd unlocked some more of his power, he became gold because lloyd always had the gold power but it was suppressed
I wholeheartedly agree with the more non-cannon instalments. I think it's a great idea to expand on the possibilities of world building and characters and stories. I still think they should make a Ninjago What If...?
HOT TAKE: The son's of Garmadon season shouldn't have happened because the curse realm was destroyed with Garmadon inside, meaning his soul or spirit was destroyed and unreachable.

I've said this before, but I love controversial ships and Greenflame is one of them. However, I think the ship is better in fanon than canon because the show would never be able to smoothly change Kai and Lloyd's brotherly relationship into a romantic one. But I do appreciate this ship.

Assuming that fully mastered golden ninja Lloyd is equal to the first spinjitsu master at bare minimum I'd say he's a country - planet level threat Goku so far in the series has showcased faster than light speed, stated to have the power to destroy the universe over the course of his battle against a God of destruction and has been seen with several transformations over the series. Even if Golden master Lloyd could match him with his strongest attacks I don't think he could match him in speed unless somehow he got a ridiculous speed amp.
HOT TAKE: Jay was an asshole in the Sweatin' with the Goldies short. Like Zane was overwhelmed and stressed out and Jay was just like yeehaw movie premiere slay girl boss. I'm autistic so I really identify with Zane and I physically felt pain watching this short cause I've been in that situation. Only time I've ever disliked Jay

If tournament of elements happened later what would be the plot cause the reason why the ninja went there in the first place ie because in the last season ending Zane got destroyed and captured so why would they go the island this time also would Kai find out during the season that Krux and Acronix have his parents and if so they wouldn't help the other elemental masters against chen right also I feel like morro would also be totally against teaming with Lloyd being he was chosen to be the green ninja instead of him?

Now hear me out. I personally ship Greenflame anywhere BUT in the show (I kind of half-ship Greenflame). In the show, Greenflame doesn't exist and will never exist either. I only ship Greenflame in fanfics that are completely separate from the show itself and where Lloyd is also confirmed to be an adult like Kai. In those fanfics, it's just like shipping Bruise or something. In the show, however, I think Kai and Lloyd are like brothers and I even like that :)

I think greenflame is possibly one of the most over hated ships ever, in my opinion its perfectly fine and a genuinely cute ship, most people I have seen said their reason for hating it was because it wasn't canon, and the other usual reason was because the ship was not a straight ship. I think the second reason is kind of yikes. other reasons I see for this ship being hated is the age gap which would have been valid if the ages were listed somewhere, i looked everywhere and could not find a canon source for the ninjas ages, plus I really do not think the age gap is any bigger than 1-2 years, 3 maximum, but that's just an estimate. however if people ship Kai with the kid version of Lloyd then yes i agree its creepy. I have seen so many people get bullied for liking this ship, mostly on tiktok, I personally don't think its okay to bash on someone for liking a ship that you don't like. (unless the ship is like Lloyd x Lord Garmadon 😨😭) I as an artist want to make greenflame art but I am so afraid that I will be bullied that i can't. :(

No just no. I'm sorry, but I don't approve of green flame! Not just because of gay relationships, I'm not homophobics. It's because Lloyd was originally a kid and Kai was a teen and even if Lloyd is older now, but still, and besides, I see them more like brothers than lovers. Kai looked after Lloyd after the finale of Tournament Of Elements to Possession, he looked after him like a brother and I that's all I see them, as brothers who care for each other.
Besides, Kai and Skylor have a love connection with each other whenever Kai tries to flirt with her, so them I see as lovers.

I feel like ninjago should’ve add like snips of Oni Lloyd’s power like in season 11 Lloyd could’ve had purple eyes and strength and master of the mountain can have Lloyd with purple flames and in sea bound he could’ve had all of the Oni powers besides the Oni mask and outfit and can get all of them in crystalized and maybe in ninjago united
I've got 2 Hot Takes (one of them I sadly forgot 😥), Idk if they're actually hot takes, but I would really like to see more scenes with Jaya and Pixane (Kailor and Llorumi kinda included) without any conflict, battle, fight, or etc. Also 'Greenflame' would NEVER work cuz 1. theres a big age gap 2. Kai and Nya kinda see Lloyd as a younger brother, theres proof in seasons 5 & 9 and other seasons. and 3. its makes no sense.

As a ninjago fan, as well as a dragon ball fan i can say that golden Lloyd with his full power couldn't beat goku, due to lack of battle experience, and due to how hard it seems to be for Lloyd controlling his golden power. The first spinjitsu master on the other hand could probably beat goku, but i doubt he would accepted to fight him.
Being completely honest, SSG Goku's clashes with beerus could have destroyed the univrese, FSM's biggest feat is creating an island...

Like, did bro even watch season 5? The existence of Possession completely nullifies his take. In that season, we do get element to element fights as the Ninja have to fight Morro the MASTER OF WIND and they need to learn a new ability to beat him which is airjitsu.

Not so much of a hot take but sure: the ninjago movie was actually made to show the redesigns of the ninjas and that’s why it’s non canon so you should just not watch the movie but instead go from season 7 straight into season 8 and I feel like people just don’t understand why they made the redesigns and why it was necessary to the story.

Familliar with Dragon Ball Here, we don't know what Lloyd's full potential would be, so I can't say who would win, but Lloyd as of right now, and Goku at the end of T.O.P (I'm not that familliar with the Manga) then Goku Wins. Prob stomps. But who knows what would happen with a full potential lloyd!
I think its also worth mentioning that Saiyans are limitless, so technically Goku doesn't have a full potential, he can always just go beyond, meaning that if FP Lloyd beats him then after 3 arcs he'll probably be strong enough to go up against lloyd
also i have not watched crystalized yet cus i am waiting for english ive watched 3 episodes of crystalized 1 episode wasnt english but i have watched every other season except wu's teashop

I don't really think it's possible for Zane and Pixal to have an argument and if they do they literally have proof for each other and the knowledge. They ARE walking computers so they can even find out how to forgive or start arguments or even break some easily.Pixal might find how to make Zane happy and Zane might do the same cuz humans forget some things when fighting and they can't just pull up google in the middle of the fight so like Zane and Pixal might be able to solve it
