该剧改编自亦舒经典同名小说。
出身于上海普通人家的95后女孩麦承欢（杨紫 饰），在母亲刘婉玉（何赛飞 饰）的催促下，与男友辛家亮（牛骏峰 饰）议婚。但辛家优渥的经济条件让这段原本平等的感情关系变得失衡，同时，麦母对女儿终身大事的过度插手，加速了麦承欢和辛家亮的分手。在孝顺父母和忠于自我之间，麦承欢艰难求索，她逐步从母亲强势的关爱中挣脱，在 工作上更专心进取。麦承欢的蜕变得到了继祖母的认可，把自己最看重的酒店经营重任托付给她。继祖母的亲孙、职业酒店经理人姚志明（许凯 饰）在与麦承欢的合作中逐渐对她理解并认同，俩人成为工作伙伴，携手并进。而在生活中，姚志明被麦家烟火气之下的真情包围，与麦承欢的感情逐渐升温。从“承欢膝下”到“成就自我”，麦承欢走出了一条独属于自己的不平凡的成长之路。
►Synopsis:
Mai Chenghuan, who comes from an ordinary family in Shanghai, was urged by her mother, Mrs. Liu, to discuss marriage with her boyfriend Xin Jialiang. However, the favorable economic conditions of the Xin family made this originally equal relationship unbalanced. At the same time, Mrs. Liu’s excessive interference in her daughter's lifelong affairs accelerated the breakup between Mai Chenghuan and Xin Jialiang. Torn between filial piety to her parents and loyalty to herself, Mai Chenghuan struggled to find a way out. She gradually broke free from her mother's strong love and focused more on her work. Oh my gosh, this episode does make my blood boils of anger (which really says that the story line and how the writer or writers executed it) perfection. That Liao Gao-really needs a beating and a great stomping. So many times that Chenghuan gave him a chance but still so cocky and the arrogance is up to the roof. IS THERE A REAL PERSON DOES THAT ABUSE HIS EMLPLOYER and THROWS WATER? If the Boss is kind and someone had done that, I will defend him/her. Sometimes the story either the employee is being maltreated by the Boss or being bullied by an employee--WE NEED TO CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE FOR BOTH THE EMPLOYEES and MANAGEMENT -CONDUCIVE, SAFE and HAPPY ENVIRONMENT. The scene on that part has SOME RELEVANCE IN TODAY’S life at work.
What is so bright with this series it brings out the good and bad side of people. Either family, exe’s, friends, loved ones and workers or co- workers. The relationship between Ziyu and Zha Peisheng is supposed to be simple BUT THE ARROGANCE OF THE MOTHER-is really way out of line. “I’m working very hard for you, to study abroad, to have everything you want” MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING. The warmth, love, support and care , very important to have a strong foundation or strength to achieve the goal of having a grand relationship. To base everything on MONIES is so evil and wicked. Ziyu shows how mature she was and reasoned very well to her mom. To have a good daughter then BE A GOOD MOM, not by shoving your material wealth and shows humility and love towards her/him.
Chenghuan’s mother came to realization how bias she was, how shortsighted she was-that’s a very good sign-an admission of mistakes is humility and love.
Yao Zhiming’s demeanour as a dignified and honourable man is very inspiring. He taught Zhao Peisheng to stop his wickedness and be on her proper place and not cook up any bad plan towards Chenghuan--that is true love.
Chenghuan’s patience and leadership is being tested and she really shows what a good manager she is.
Mao and Chengzao’s love between each other -is pure and very caring. What a good series, dealing with real issues , resilience’s and patience. Yang Zi and Xu Kai carried their roles very well and the rest of the cast. BRAVO👏👏👏❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏

I used to work in Five star hotel for many many years. So I know this conflict between Liao and Chunguam only exist in fiction drama like this. People of his level do not dare to have direct verbal argument with immediate boss not even in private forget about when there are many people. Here he is asking for dismissal when he dares to confront the owner. Such rude people do not get job that requires him to be in direct contact with guest. Looks like this is the flaw of writer and director than the actor here.

seriously this drama does not make any sense to me. The actors' agencies should learn to reject some stories/scripts . It is just a waste of time for the stars in this drama. I can't feel Yang Zi and Xu Kai. This make s the drama more worse. Compare to "Finally you are mine" the actors are new to me yet they interpreted their roles well with morals. Everything was top notch.
