So I did set up method 1 and my extender took my routers network name, however it doesnt connect to the internet. It says connected, good signal etc but the EXT doesnt get internet access.
The room I wanna put this in doesn't have a ethernet cable to hook this up to,cant I just plug it in and hook it up without being connected directly to the router? I want it in a room without wires.
@@beban8364 yo, you just have to press the "WPS" button on your router untill the light will turn on and off all the time and then press the "WPS" button on the extender. That helped for me

I have the same exact model extender found it useless listening too music while trying to follow your lead. so for those of us who need words and im sure there are many pls help us. We aren't slow just slower...hope you arent offended...thank you

If I set-up the wifi extender in the third room, will it boost the Net-1 wifi, so that all my three rooms have the same Net-1 wifi OR the extender will create a separate network, so that there will be two networks and devices have to switch (manually or automatically) for the stronger signal when someone moves from one room to another room? I would be very grateful if you could answer it. Thanks.

Why does it only get 18Mbs when it's a 300Mbps device? Is this your internet speed or is it the device max about that speed?

It only takes this way to connect or do you have to press the wps button on your router and then on the range extender?
This is the manual mode, you can also use the WPS mode as you said.

You dont need to enter any passwords to use LAN as it directly connects to the router or through this extender
