In this video, Pastor Bobby teaches us through Exodus 19-20 where we learn about the 10 commandments. In this online class on the 10 commandments, we learn that God is not only giving his people rules and commands to follow, he is giving them the reason why. He is a jealous God who is not ok with rivals.

The word that comes to my mind when I think about the first service in the new building is: Overwhelming!
I am overwhelmed by our God who is able to do more than all we ask or think! When we were praying for this church even before Jesus planted it, we did not see this!
I was overwhelmed with how the worship & tech team SERVED for days under the leadership of Pastor Bill and Ryan Pierce to make this service happen!
During the first service on Saturday night I was overwhelmed with the joy of singing songs together and greeting one another. Then as I was preaching I was overwhelmed as I could see everyone there so much more clearly.
I could see people were overwhelmed with conviction about idolatry as they sat there after the service with tears coming down their faces.
I am overwhelmed we get to do this again next weekend!
God is over and above all! I pray we will truly worship and serve him together and him alone!
One day I was walking passed the building when it was still the R/C business and as I looked inside I saw tons and tons of dirt that made up the tracks and I remember thinking “there’s no way this place would move or close down, that would be impossible”! BUT GOD, He is the God of the impossible!!! As I walked into our new building my eyes became teary! It was an emotional moment, so surreal! How could I have doubted that God would make a way for our church to have more space? My faith has grown as I’ve watched God answer prayers and be so faithful to us!! November 4th was the fifth anniversary of my very first day attending CompassHB! I thank the Lord that he brought me here! Thank you Pastor Bobby for your faithfulness and obedience to the Lord, Jesus Christ!!
We will be back at compass HB in the new building in 3 weeks!!

Thank you God for building your church! As souls hear the truth at Compass HB, you are a mighty God who continues to save! I was not there last weekend, but walked through God’s new worship center last night after HFG and marveled at his goodness. After years of prayer and fundraising, we see by sight that God is faithful to his people.
It was an amazing experience to be in the new auditorium. So much excitement and glory to God for giving us the space we prayed for. So many seats, so many souls.
I was overwhelmed with thanksgiving to our Lord for providing such an amazing space. Thankful for this video being filmed in the new auditorium and having a new kids min building. The Lord has definitely provided for us. He’s showing us our double double project is coming to fruition.
I am so thankful to see all that God is doing at compassHb. Seeing God grow His church and growing our own faith and personal walk with Him. God is good
Glory to the one and only God! Thank you for all the insight revealed in the SOTD specifically on idols and how serious and urgent it is to put God first in our thoughts, sight, speech, and actions. The new auditorium is alive with people who truly seek God and are hungry for truth. I enjoyed the amazing sermon, singing, and Bible pages being turned. The excitement and energy were noticeable. and contagious. Praise God for 46:35 the new house of God.
It was so inspiring to see that many souls coming to worship our God. Praise God 🙏
thankful for this time of worship, even though many were present, I felt like the Lord was speaking to me. Praise the Lord, to Him be the glory.💖
This weekend was evidence of a God who hears our prayers. The Lord placed a vision and carried it out. A little faith and alot of supplication has strengthen my faith and prayer walk!
What a blessing to see how far compass has come since I first visited in 2017. Even though the autitorium was bigger it was very intimate! On top of that, the sermon was amazing. I definitely was convicted about putting to death the idols in my life. I was also convicted that service is not just a time slot but your whole way of life.
Praise the Lord for the way he is building and growing our church. I'm still overwhelmed just to see the way the Gospel is ringing out and seeing so many new souls at our church.

It was so encouraging to gather together in the new auditorium this past weekend; we got to gather in something that we watched God be faithful over!! I could feel how my brothers and sisters were stirred up, and that stirred ME up! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!
I’m praying that we would tear down any idols that we are trying to serve before or besides the Lord!
I remember praying about a new building way back in 2015. Meeting this weekend in the new auditorium was a clear answer to those prayers. I’m in awe of God’s goodness!
The first sermon in the new building was emotional! God is so Good and Faithful! Over 2000 souls! More kids than ever in Kids Min! Wow! He is building His church and I am so happy I get to help be a part of it and witness it!! 🙌🏼

I won't forget the first service in the New Auditorium! Praising the Lord for all that he has done over the past 9 years! IT was a joy to celebrate with many of those who have responded with repentance and so thankful we have more space for more souls to turn from their idols! I even got to have a conversation about repentance right after the first service!
Being in the new auditorium with the congregation this weekend was SO amazing! So exciting and overwhelming!! SO MUCH JOY at how God has been SO good to us!!!
Worshipping God in the new space was inspiring and a blessing. It is so great to see Jesus building his church and transforming souls. The screen, lighting, and sound are a nice addition to. 😊 Serve God. Amen🙏
Thankful that God is faithful in building his church on the rock of Christ and His Word! I am also thankful for the improved bathroom situation and awesome screen. I volunteered in kids min and it was very good for a first day and I’m sure the team will further streamline!

This comment is late but it was surreal being in the new building!! I haven’t been apart of a church this big in 6 years and it’s a blessing to see that it’s because God is building His church, not because we are just trying to pull and attract people in with watered down words. The care for people’s souls is so evident!! I praise the Lord for our church!
Aaaaahhh... so sweet to be worshiping along with my brothers and sisters in the new sanctuary! What a super-cool screen! What cushy chairs! What a great gift our LORD has lavished upon us!

I say the first meeting in the new building was epic but that doesn’t even come close to what God has done here at CompassHB since we started coming 6 years ago! Awe-inspiring would be another way I’d describe the first service, not to mention >>convicting
Constantly on the lookout for flights back to HB, but for now I am watching from overseas.
Even the live streams seemed to have upped their game following the new auditorium. Excited to follow along, though not physically.🙌🏻
I felt that it was awesome to be together for service in the new auditorium. Brothers and sisters excited to come to hear and learn about the word of God.
Love being in the new auditorium! Excited for the kids to have their own building. Also nice to be able to go directly to the Trolley area and see so many people fellowshipping and encouraging each other after service!
This weekend was such an awe inspiring experience!! To see Gods wondrous deeds on display in providing a larger space for the entire church (adults and kids!!!) was so stirring!! I also got to meet two ladies that are new to our church! God is growing our church and I am excited to see how He fills up this larger space with more souls!!
Circling all the YHWHs through the book of Exodus. YHWH is definitely the center of the book.

First sermon in the new auditorium and my husband and I won a cabin trip?!😂but seriously, the thought of ALL of the things God is going to do in the new building is so amazing. Sitting there and looking around and all the souls and some empty seats that souls could be sitting in, I was blown away by Gods providence. Keep going!

Love the new auditorium. It’s just so bright on the stage to the extent of being painful. Thankful but if anything can be done to the stage lights, it would be fantastic and more enjoyable.
Honestly I thought, "We are going to fill this up fast." It has given me a continued urgency to pray for Long Beach.
It was great to worship together in the new auditorium. We named it Revival Sanctuary last night in HFG😊
It was so awesome to meet together this weekend within the new auditorium. Amazing to see how many people came on Saturday night to the first sermon.
Help us to make truly serving you our God, YHWH, a natural practice in our lives.
As for me and my house we will serve the LORD.
Help us to cast down our idols, and turn to God, our father.

27:25 the Main Verse here today Bobby said is - ★Exodus 20:5 “you shall not bow down to them, or serve them, for I Yaweh, your God, am a Jealous God” ..
So the first attribute of God that was written down on the two tablets was that God is a Jealous God ..
I am grateful to God for the new auditorium, been a witness of God steadfast love for His church in HB. My heart rejoices to see more people getting save and more souls to encounter Jesus. What a beautiful construction, well designed but more than that prayed for. I only been part of Compass HB for close to 3 years and I have taste and see that the Lord is good not only in my life but in the church community. I am grateful of the Gospel of Jesus, repentance, salvation and eternal life!

I am planning a trip to Calif to see your new auditorium in Dec this year. I can’t wait.
The first service was wonderful, it was a blessing to be there.
But...I really wished I had a jacket, we were sitting underneath a Jetstream of very cold ❄️ air.
This was so amazing to see in Exodus 23:31-33 how God determined the borders for Israel. Also said that they are to make no covenant with the land and their gods. The Temple Mount today has the Dome of the Rock, which is not a temple of YHWH.
I wasn’t able to sit in service but walked through after. It was so huge that I felt very small
I loved the new auditorium but it felt like I went to a different church this Sunday at the same time! Will take getting used to a bit ahha
