I have done 1150km once in around 16 hours but my experience was less positive. It was in 2020 during the whole covid thing and i was forced to transit croatia in 12 hours, but i came from the stelvio pass that day. Untill i reached croatia i was never planning to continue so long, my plan was to cross the border and find a hotel but...nope. It was 35+ for most part of the day and i was really exhausted + it was not planned so i had a bad mindset. My motorcycle did have cruise control unlike yours so idk how u managed without..
Interesting story. I’m so glad this Covid-restriction etc are over. I would not make it with some passes, 95% of this was a highway 😂😅 Honestly I never miss cruise control on my bikes. Not having it in the car sucks big time for me :/ Thanks for your feedback 👍
Respect, I recently did 350+ miles in 5.5 hours and was in a lot of discomfort with my knees! Made me laugh about the earplugs deep in the brain - the motorways are so loud!! take care sir
Thanks :) yes the earplugs are essential for this kind of trips, especially on the German highway where people fly by next to you with 200-250km/h Ride safe
For the iron butt? Yes In general? No! It’s just a different bike type. I will make a video about this topic. The build quality is better on the NC, T7 has a better engine etc. I could talk for hours about this ;) will try to make this video this spring
