it's super interesting that the time they look happiest in this whole video is when they're riff-offing within their group. it's like it's not a competition anymore it's about hyping each other up. i just think that's precious.
The Riff off quality on the sequels dropped in quality so hard. They don't even connect anymore. You can see how in the first movies the riff offs were actually thought of and in the sequel they just wanted in there with trending songs because they were cool to mash up. I remember when I watched PP2 and I was like "dafuq is this riff off????"!!" haha
I just think the first riff off was to actually introduce the idea of it and the next ones actually had plot in it. Like in PP3 they showed how the other groups had no regard for the bellas or in PP2 it was just to demonstrate how unified Das Sound Machine was.
