I believe that they also have bass tracks that are playing at the same time, just like the synths, but yeah I think that a live bassist would be even more interesting.
The drummer makes these sick ryhthms sound so easy ! This plus a great bassplayer like Alex Webster from Blotted Science would be Eargasm++. Just listen to Tesseract, what this kind of music sounds with a decent bass. At least for live gigs I would think about it.
Very technical but the vibe they create is annoying as hell. Can't picture anyone listening to this crap. Maybe a musician who thinks it's good because it is technically hard to play or learn.

The one time we have of them playing on impulse live...
Muchas gracias
thanks MI !! I think a drummer mix the sound of this video !! ;)
The musicians that carry the torch Primus kept lit during the 90s!
What a incredible sound this band has, I might just have had an eargassum and I liked it.
I wish they played On Impulse more often, such a deep song
Agreed brother. It's always been my favorite AAL song.
Tosin Playing "Crescent" 2 Years before the song came out
this makes you wanna play music!!!!!WOW one of my favorite trios!!!
Thanks... this is a jamm band more or less ... Good! God loves you deeply shalom
I can't help but wonder if crescent was born in this video just by spontaneous jamming or if that was something he had been doing previously
How does this channel not have a million Subs.
Best kept secret on You Tube.
27:55 Crescent from Joy of Motion, before it was released
Matt Garstka tries Song Of Solomon, Odessa, etc please.
Genius
Dang, that drummer is like John Bonham on speed...er, ahh, redbull!
+blekros He drinks protein shakes routinely!! haha
Great musicans, but though they are using 8strings in my opinion the BASS is missing. What a good bassist could do with this great drummer....
I believe that they also have bass tracks that are playing at the same time, just like the synths, but yeah I think that a live bassist would be even more interesting.
They have bass in their backing tracks, it's just low in this mix but trust me, you'd notice if it weren't there.

Best Ibanez Javier had
I could have sworn they play para Mexer and another yeAr in this video but now I can't find it. Can someone help?
Can anyone explain what is going on Matt's computer while they're playing.
I believe it too. But if it's true it's way interesting for playing w/ metronome without any lost. Totally Insane
It's those backing rythum tracks you hear around 20:20 or some where in there
33:26 Thoroughly at Home.
34:57
Garstka is god.
The sound of the drums overpowered everything else.
from 23:11 it is OK
27:17
29:20.... That is not simple triads Tosin. Like, seriously. only you can play that shit, wtf.
