I’m honestly a big fan of the OG PLL and I absolutely loved the perfectonists. I was honestly still upset over the cancelation.

I really hope Marlene King would reveal who the Professor is and the other unanswered questions the show has, then the fans can create fan fictions so we can create our own endings to the show. I was really hoping that if season 2 happened, the original PLL cast would show up and visit Alison and Mona and meet the new liars/perfectionists. I would like some closure to the Mary and Alex thing. I hope in a few years a PLL movie would happen so we can say goodbye.
Andrey Leary I think if Marlene doesn’t reveal anything there could be a chance it might continue for season 2 I wish there was like mike and mona and mason love triangle so mike comes in to get mason to become jealous
I liked when Mona was with Mike, Mona and Mason is a interesting couple
I'd only want a PLL movie if it wasn't more endless weddings and births, or a brand new mystery without a satisfying conclusion . Mona and Alison were some of my favorite characters in the early years, but I couldn't get through more than a couple of episodes on Perfectionists. Looks like I made the right choice. It feels like Marlene got lazy and/or just caved to fan service and stopped caring about the writing, maybe it's time for some new blood.....
I think Marlene is trying to save the show and i hope she can save it so we can have a nice closure

If you’ve watched interviews... Marlene said Emison was always going to get back together. But because Shay didn’t want to be on the show, they needed a reason to move Alison.

I didn’t give “The Perfectionists” a chance when it first aired, but watching it now, i love it. I have no doubts it’ll get renewed at some point in the future!

When I started watching it I wasn't really feeling it. Although as I got more into it I actually started to like it a lot more.

I have to agree, it didn’t have that same magic as the original PLL. Plus some of the acting was just bad 😬.
Eve same with PLL I instantly got hooked in and I loved it but I couldn’t get into the TP because it just wasn’t the same as the original cast

Sammy oueen they needed a reason to get Alison to move since Shay didn’t want to be on the show. Marlene said Emison would always get back together.

Stacey Adams she could’ve moved without a divorce people stop watching after the divorce episodes. All a long people were asking for an emison spin-off and felt betrayed. After years and getting a rush conclusion.

Shay didn’t want to do the spinoff. She had to explain why Emily wasn’t ever going to show up. She also said recently EMISON was always endgame.
actually emison is part of what ruined the show. Devillifying alison was a really bad move, she was a perfect A
João Marcos I don’t think 💭 you ever understood Alison’s character. And to the people who comprehend that Alison character is a series of tales and stories told from everybody else’s perspective and opinion and we barely got Ali’s side .
Alison is complex and multifaceted.
As a PLL fan I couldn't get into The Perfectionist. I half watched the first episode and they mentioned someone called the Professor and I was like oh no this is A all over again but I believed the Professor wouldn't be a better villian than A so that made me not want to continue the show then when I heard Emison divorced and they were gonna have Allison fall for a man I really didn't want to continue the Perfectionists anymore. Emison was one of the biggest ships in PLL history and they went through a lot to be together and to end the show with the married with kids only to be divorced when a new series comes around was a shot the heart because they were the first LGBT couple I shipped. Hearing they are together again makes my heart full. Just wish I could see them on my TV screen again😍
I was not surprised that the show was canceled. Sometimes things change. Sometimes we have to move on
Right and most of the main casts whom the fans were so invested in are not even in it, and some storylines don't come to fruition. It was bound to be cancelled, as seemingly the plot is about the same as before.
I agree, I did not really like The Perfectionists so much! The story wasn't that great!
The whole "beacon guard" thing was pretty lame
I loved it so much!! I got hookes in on hulu and watched it all overnight. It had all of the same stuff i missed from pretty little liars and i loved the friendships built!

It felt way different, it had similarities but was deffo different.

y'all don't realize that emison fans killed the show? now we won't see if they got back together because most of y'all stopped watching and gave it bad reviews. it was a good show and had an amazing plot, with Alison and mona from the OG PLL. It isn't the emison show guys, I wanted to see how everything would play out. but now we won't :(
Decoy you cant just blame it on all of us, majority of us were only able to watch it on netflix but it wasn’t on there.
I watched it all on hulu overnight i was obsessed i LOVED the new characters and the friendships they built!! Im so sad😭
So it flopped because Emison fans didn’t watch?? Oh yeah Emison fans make up the majority of the PLL fan base 🤦🏻♀️ No. The other OG fans didn’t care either. Their favourite characters weren’t there & they didn’t care about these new kids. So many spin offs fail due to that. Also new viewers are completely lost when it comes to spin offs. They didn’t get the viewership. Hence why it flopped.

I love the perfectionists so much and I'm so sad to see it cancelled on such a cliffhanger. Its the end of a great pll era at the moment but hopefully there will be a movie or they continue the perfectionists. And emison. That ship has been such a big part of my life and has helped !e though so much and be OK with myself as well. Emison will always be endgame and pll has been the best show ever. I shall live in this fantasy land with Sasha as I can't let go of Emison, one of the best ships to ever exist. Fellow pll fans IM SURE THIS WON'T BE THE END MARLINE WILL TAKE CARE OF EMISON!!!

I think it’s complete crap that The Perfectionists was cancelled. So many unanswered questions, following the crap we were given for PLL’s series finale. Such a slap in the face to the fans, Marlene. 😒😒

Marlene King really is good at ending shows in mid like Ravenswood, famous in love ended in s2 incomplete not to mention I love that series and it has amazing fan base so the TRP would be good enough I guess and now PLL well it was good idk now what happened:/

I thought Sasha and Janel were stunning and amazing on the show but I didn’t resonate with the other characters at all, and the plot line was just a dried up copy of PLL. The only things I loved was how Alison was coming to terms with the fact that she was still wearing a mask, Ally completely changed herself in order to be a “good” person at the end of PLL. In the Perfectionists, she realised that the change was so large, that it wasn’t her anymore, I loved that, we got to see a hint of the old Alison. I also loved Janel’s funny phrases, and also - now don’t kill me for saying this, but I also liked the break up of Emily and Ally. Obviously I wanted them together in the end (or a great story including Shay and a newfound wife), but Alison played Emily around a lot, and Emily was very sure of her sexuality, while Alison was a little more confused, besides that, it was all so quick with the babies being there, and with Ally not being herself, she was practically living a lie, and so Emily and Ally’s relationship was kind of plastic. What I think would have happened next, was Ally showing Emily who she really is, and if Emily would accept that, they could be together. She was trying too hard to be like Emily by the end of PLL, now she wanted to be her better self.

Unfortunately kids in 2019 appear to be taught that constructive criticism is "bullying" and "negative". All we can do is keep giving our honest opinions. What is the point of social media otherwise? Maybe if more people gave Marlene honest feedback, rather than trying to stroke her ego for"likes", the last half of the series wouldn't have been so disappointing....and this show wouldn't have tanked.

It didn't make sense in the spin-off cos Emily wanted a divorce since they weren't working out and Alison signed the papers in one of the episodes now they're saying in the interview that they're happy and raising the babies 😩

Shay didn’t want to do the spinoff so MK wrote in the divorce to explain her long absence in Alison’s life- after it was cancelled MK confirmed Emison was always going to end up together so that’s why sasha said this.
